Just so we all have our expectations in check, TV Line's article about the premiere date makes it sound as though a trailer is not coming anytime in the immediate future, and probably won't appear until closer to the airdate...

Twin Peaks' premiere date, by the way, means that it won't qualify for Emmy consideration until 2018.

So, I still understand that we're talking about 17 episodes (2 hours long premiere+15 hour long episodes). Not really sure about that but they said 18 hours, not 18 episodes. I hope they'll clarify this in the panel.

This is what Nevins said about the trailer:

Another thing not to expect: A trailer (at least, not a traditional one). “I don’t know whether we’re going to have a traditional trailer,” Nevins said. “You might start seeing some filmed pieces coming out but there definitely won’t be trailers that give away all the big plot points as is traditional in the movie business.”

All they've said (I think) is that it's 18 hours of content. I don't know that they have specified what the actual episode count is yet, have they? (For example, if the finale is 2 hours in addition to a 2-hour premiere, then that's 16 episodes.)
