Very sad news. His performance as Albert was particularly strong. I also remember him as the unfortunate helmsman of the USS Excelsior in Star Trek III, as mad, bad executive Bob Morton in Robocop and as a patient who is told he has lung cancer in the pilot episode of ER. On a humorous note, when his cousin George Clooney was on the Howard Stern show one time, Mr Ferrer phoned in and claimed Mr Clooney used to pull fat chicks (or words to that effect!)

I'll always think of him first as Albert. Like so many characters in Twin Peaks, the combination of writing and performance made an immediate impact and ensured he'd never be forgotten.
