Re: Season 3 Magazine Coverage and Articles Worldwide
Wow, who'd have thought we'll hear Frost practically directly come down on Lynch and his attitude towards S 2! Here it is:
"But I also think it's bad form to bad-mouth your own work, especially when it's putting bread on your table, even if you weren't or didn't feel that you were particularly involved at the time. A lot of people worked very hard and did the best they could to make Season 2 – and it is what it is."
I'm speechless. All I can say is: kudos to Frost!
P.S.: I do wonder what were those publicly unknown factors that caused S 2 to play out the way it did. Too bad Frost says we'll never get to know them... Be that as it may, it makes perfect sense that the reasons are/were complicated - it goes a long way towards explaining all the vagueness and contradictions of various statements related to S 2 shenanigans made over the years.

From CB's latest newsletter. TPTR giving her exposure and some degree of career boost was entirely expected (hell, I looked up her music and went to her concert thanks to Tammy). The shift in gender ratio, though? Interesting. Did more women watch TPTR? Did more women appreciate Tammy? Does anyone here have some empirical data?

Kyle in EW: http://ew.com/tv/2017/12/11/kyle-maclac ... tv-debate/
Interestingly, he talks about playing Mr. C opposite Laura Dern (presumably referring to the “Richard” persona).

Oh Kmac
"like Laura Dern and David Lynch" sounds like the Yankton scene!

Ahh yes of course! I somehow forgot they shared those (terrific) scenes. Must have been because there was a piece of glass between them.laughingpinecone wrote:Oh Kmac

His comment on the dancing duck reminds me of his duck walk in BV.

Interesting that DKL sent her a social media meme!

Tim Goodman stays Tim Goodman until the very end. He hasn't read one defense of the show that doesn't seem delusional, etc.

Sorry, didn't know where else to put this. Johnny Jewel of Chromatics is hyping 5/21 (TPTR's first airdate) with this, but their new album may not be out til fall.

Re: Season 3 Magazine Coverage and Articles Worldwide
There's been a lot of press lately, as Showtime is blitzing for some Emmy buzz.
Most importantly, at least to me, is this video of the Frost talk in Austin where he brings up Greek myth. And here's an IndieWire interview about writing the script with David.
Here's some interviews with Lynch:
IndieWire, which is actually coverage of the Festival of Disruption Q&A with Kyle & Laura
Deadline
IndieWire again, which is actually just an excerpt from his new book, which of course is sure to have some TP insights
Here's some interviews with Kyle:
The Wrap
LA Times, which is a write-up of a panel discussion (a video of which is at the end of the article)
GoldDerby (video)
The Dail Beast, which is mostly about wine, but with some funny descriptions of TP fans approaching him with byzantine theories
Here's an interview piece solely about the P18 gun scene
Here's another about the scene in the woods in P8
Here's a bit of trivia about Janey-E's wardrobe
Here's a page BUF put out with some never before seen pics, such as Sheryl Lee before CGI'd into young Laura in P17
And here's a short bit of an interview in here with BUF about the Frog Moth
Not comprehensive, just what I've happened to see and read myself.

Recipe not my own. In a coffee cup. 3 TBS flour, 2 TBS sugar, 1.5 TBS cocoa powder, .25 TSP baking powder, pinch of salt. 3 TBS milk, 1.5 TBS vegetable oil, 1 TBS peanut butter. Add and mix each set. Microwave 1 minute 10 seconds. The cup will be hot.

This whole foofaraw is almost like DKL just wanted to prove your point from another thread that sometimes he just blurts stuff out in interviews without thinking.N. Needleman wrote:The right thing to do.
