Twin Peaks Festival
Just a reminder that the Twin Peaks Festival happens in and around North Bend, WA July 27-29, 2007. In honor of the 15th Anniversary of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, they will be screening a brand new print of it at the festival, along with the new David Lynch Documentary, Lynch. This year's celebrity guests include Al Strobel, Charlotte Stewart, Sandy Kinder, and a live concert by John Neff!
Anybody in here plan on attending? Be sure and post pictures when you get back! Meanwhile, we'll try and celebrate at home, munching on cherry pie and donuts and of course, drinking some great coffee.

Keep your eye on the doughnut, not on the hole.
Okay, sorry--technicalities! The look-alike Coop actually got first place. But grrlskout won the trivia contest which got her a free ticket to the festival this year!
I can't believe nobody else from this forum will be going--or are you just keeping it a secret?

I was just in Snoqualmie and North Bend 2 weeks ago.
Took many pics, toured alll the locations (thanks to Charles for the great advice and info).
I was previously there in 1993 and must say this past trip was both amazing and disappointing.
It's sad to see the state of North Bend in terms of its economical situation and the poverty that exists. Just take a stroll to the Mt. Si Hotel or the area near the Trailer Park and Reining Road.
I spoke with some locals and they all told the same tale of not being able to keep their young people and the mill being shut down as prime factors.
It was also shocking to see that nobody sold any Twin Peaks souvenirs or merchandise anymore except for some fridge magnets and coffee cups at Twede's.
That being said, it was still amazing to be back there after 14 years.

Well, is anybody back yet? Or probably so worn out, they're crashing. I haven't heard a thing from anybody who went. Grrlskout promised me she'd post her pictures in here, but then she went directly on vacation with her family.
I really want to hear how the John Neff concert was!!!
