I know things from here and there (not the things that internet bring), there is in fact a "blur" for the release and what will be in this release.
This "blur" is Mk2 and people play with that for the rumours on the net...

A thing is sure, for me, it is that if we don't have in France the deleted scenes, they will not have them in U.S.A or in an another country. That is may be our last chance to have them....

MK2 still owns the rights of these deleted scenes. (MK2 is a french company)

There is, for sure, a release that will happen this year, yes, I know a date but I don't want to share it yet because it is not at 100% sure and I don't like rumors at all.
(And it is not the 10 or 17 of June, from what I know ....)

Paramount will be in charge of the logistic and TF1 will be the editor. (In France)
What is doing MK2 is a big mystery... They already had made a release in France of the movie but it was a "quick" release. MK2... this is may be why the release has been posponed.
MK2 had never done a release for a serie, never.
BUT indeed there will be the movie with the serie. And if there is the movie with the serie there is a big chance that the deleted scenes will be included, but it is NOT yet sure. May be the release has just been posponed because they find a "way" to included the movie (and just the movie not the deleted scenes) in the same boxset... No more no less.

In short term it is : MK2 has sold the movie to TF1 and only the movie or...?

And no, Paramount, in U.S.A and in U.K, will be the editor and they don't usually put any subtitles on their dvds and/or blu-rays. But if it is an international release who knows ;-)
Let me just one month, or may be two, and I will be sure about the date that I have...

Didn't Paramount include subtitles on the US release of the complete series set? I wouldn't say they won't have subtitles if they in fact did have them in the past.

Nope. English, Spanish and Portuguese for subtitles but no French subtitles (we were talking about the french subtitles with dale_coop). Same thing for soundtracks.

So because many people have made rumors (or gossip thing) you do not believe it ...
For you, how the thing can become official?

I notice Amazon France has just put the blu ray up on their site for pre-order

http://www.amazon.fr/Twin-Peaks-Lint%C3 ... ks+blu+ray

It states the release date is 11th of June and that it has 10 discs which sounds about right. I assume Amazon UK and Amazon US will follow shortly with pre-orders too...
The next time you see me it won't be me...

In fact, no.

It seems fairer than the boxset comes first in France and then, in few months, in the USA and England etc.

It is about copyrights's "problem", as the film will be included in the box (with or not the deleted scenes) and that the movie was never released in the USA on blu-ray, it would be strange, like it was the case with the first date, to see them appear on amazon.com or co.uk.

It sounds quite strange and/or funny to me that one can have named "rumor" one quote I've shared from "the horse's mouth" on www.fb.com/Lynchland (i.e. the owner of MK2 video department)...

All is a rumor when nothing is really official. Even with "the horse's mouth" of MK2 video departement and you know it well when we talk about Twin Peaks the movie. ;-)
