TSHOTP says one of the two races of lodge spirits is "The Nordic Race" which could liken them to the Norns, and the Venus statue in the Red Room and the Saturn lamp bring up Greco-Roman deities, which also leads to the Fates/Triple Goddess if you see 3 women together.
I thought of the Three Graces (or Charities), but I don't know what they'd be doing in such a situation. I suppose that the presence of the three showgirls could allude to something like the Norns or Fates, but at this point it would be a gigantic stretch. In any case, based upon upon this scene it seems as though the casino may be intruding back into Cooper's narrative, so we may see this trio again, or at least Amy Shiels. It would be odd if this was her only appearance.
Interestingly, I don't believe the other two actresses were even in the List of 217.

I think Amy Shiels has a substantial role, or at least screen time.

"Don't die"

We know a character will be saying this line as has been the case with every episode thus far.

At first I thought maybe it would be the Log Lady but it could also be someone else. I'm kind of stumped.
Guesses:

Cooper says it to Janey-E/Sonny Jim.

Gordon Cole says it to Albert.

Shelly says it to Becky.

Becky says it to Stephen.
My first gut feeling was Dougie Coop to Janey-E, but I'm rethinking that. Coop's tears while looking at Sunny Jim in the car could be a premonition.
My initial reaction was Cooper saying this to Janey-E but I don't think so now because he doesn't really have the mental capabilities yet to make that recognition.

While IMDB isn't always accurate, it does credit Amy Shiels as appearing in a great number of the parts: part 5 -- part 16.

If true, that's quite a large role for a Vegas showgirl.

I noticed the moon tonight and looked it up online to see if it was indeed a full moon. Tonight is something called a Strawberry Moon!

So if Becky is the daughter of Bobby, could that help explain his reaction when he saw the photo of Laura beyond just bringing back memories? If he knows or suspects that Becky is using drugs, seeing the picture of Laura could make him think how his daughter could be headed for the same fate as Laura.

Don't forget Sylvia, with a man other than Ben!
my money is on Jerry being his father.

Wonderful & Strange wrote:Premonition is an interesting idea.

Speaking of Sonny Jim, I still don't believe these theories about his eyelids dancing a lodge jig. He was just fluttering his eyelids like a normal kid.

People also perceived Denise moving strangely, and I honestly think that the Black Lodge has just worked itself into people's minds so strongly that they're now noticing odd movements everywhere that are just ordinary banal odd human movements. It's very interesting how the show's estrangement effects can affect the mind's perception.
The Denise scene (end) is definitely reversed. I only say this as I am normally rubbish at spotting things. I don't think it's anything supernatural, more an artistic choice or an intentional fix of a shot.

OK...this might have been discussed, but just want to make sure... In part 1 Tracey is carrying 2 coffees that have the letter Z on them...some people think it is a 7, but I think it is a Z...also, in part 5, the coffee that Dougie's young colleague is bringing up has the letter Z it seems BOLD you know, so it stands out a bit .... Am I just reading into this a bit too much?

While I wouldn't be surprised if she has a larger role than her first appearance indicates, all the IMDb casting info for future episodes is entirely unreliable. It's reliable for anything that has already aired/premiered.

Does anyone know what the Lynch/Badalamenti song listed in the credits "Frank 2000" is? I imagine it's what plays when Cooper is tearing up looking at Sonny Jim?

I thought that song was previously credited in an earlier part as well. If I am remembering correctly, then that probably means its the shuffling drum song that briefly plays over the Vegas introduction in Part 1/2, and which then possibly plays during Dougie's corporate adventure in Part 5. But I could be wrong.
