They must have a deal with Showtime only four Parts each month, no new Part on Sunday July 2.

Meh. That will be another two week stretch of pulling my hair out between Part 8 and Part 9.

Just found out that Don Murray hadn't acted for 16 years, until he came out of retirement to work on Twin Peaks. That's certainly very interesting.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

Yep. He doesn't look bad for an 87 year old man. I hope he gets more roles after this.

I just rewatched the Missing Pieces and noticed that the location of the hotel Philip Jeffries zapped in and out of wasn't made specific. But when Buenos Aires popped up in this episode, I immediately connected it to Philip Jeffries. Was the Buenos Aires-Jeffries connection first established in The Secret History of Twin Peaks? (if the scene in TMP could be any Latin American country)

It's in the script for FWWM - I'd never actually noticed it wasn't made specific in the Missing Pieces.

Loving the new series so far! Far removed from the original series but we're 25 years on so I'm glad it's taking a fresh approach. I've been watching all the episodes with headphones and really enjoying immersing in the dark soundscapes on a lot of the scenes, adding to the tense feeling that things are not quite as they should be. Angelo's music would feel out of place right now as Coop is "far away" and very lost. Looking forward to that hopefully creeping in more as he heads back into town.

Here's a site I found that's collecting all the tracks from each episode:

https://www.tunefind.com/show/twin-peaks/season-3/47937

It even has stuff like the music playing in the black car in Rancho Rosa.
I'm guessing we'll see Sub Dream, Dream Recall and Frank 2000 on the upcoming soundtrack.

Amazon's listing the original score soundtrack as a double cd. Might not be anything to get our hopes up about (the label is showing as unassigned, so the info isn't 100% yet), but fingers crossed...

It looks like some of the tracks will be from the old show.

For me, the most emotional moment in this episode was seeing BOB.

I had a lot of apprehensions about how they were going to portray him, especially if CGI was involved. But they did an amazing job.

I wasn't crazy about the little flashback montage of BOB and Coop's doppelganger laughing together, but regardless, I am really impressed with face morph !

Interesting... thanks for the info. It's not explicitly stated.... maybe there are some production design elements indicating it's Argentina but for the most part it looks like a generic touristy Latin American resort.

Can't it also be translated as "pure air"? ... "from pure air we have descended"
