Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
The posts in this forum are just getting better and better. I never thought I'd ever be reading so many Lynch fans discuss new Twin Peaks. Amazing.

We all saw the photo of Kafka in Cole's office, right?
But has it been discussed that one of Kafka's most famous works is "Die Verwandlung" (The Metamorphosis)?

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
I associated it with the guard and whoever else works in the glass box building seemingly blinking out of existence right before Cooper faceplants into the box outside. The Brown Lodge wrote:When the zig zag floor opens up and Cooper falls through into space, the doppelganger of the evolution of the arm says "non-existant" or "non-existance".
Is this a reference to where Cooper now is, in suburbia, eating pancakes and drinking coffee?
Or is it referencing the space which he falls through before he arrives at the box?
Or is it Cooper who is non-existant, since he has no memory etc (even although he clearly does have some flickers of memory such as that he likes cofee)?
I'm not just three men on a fishing trip.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
Well well. I'll have to rewatch it to get the details, but glad I could finally delve into this topic and other spoiler ones (unless people are discussing episode 5 there)
- Must admire Kyle MacLachlan in this one. Confused Lodge Coop, Bad Coop, Dougie and Dougie Coop. That's quite something. Loved the casino scene. It does drag a bit but then you get the helooo-oooo and crack up.
- I liked the FBI plot a lot, but not too sure where Tamara Preston is going. She gives a whole different vibe than in TSHOTP and in a way it would have made more sense if she was played by Naomi Watts for instance. Crysta Bell is woody at best and decoration at worst. It does seem there's a certain tiredness/waryness in both Cole and Albert
- The opening scene was stunning. Made the weird of the last two episodes look mundane. I do feel episode 3 was more difficult and episode 4 was getting things along in a more traditional TP-way
- Loved the sheriff department scenes, minus the bunny scene. That was weird and did make Lucy and Andy come off as mentally ill instead of pure and a litle simple, intellectualy speaking.
- There is something off with Dougies life. I mean, the guy seems to have a good job. If it's considered normal that he's acting like this, one wonders how he got/keeps the job and an attractive wife, let alone indulge himself in prostitutes. However, his reaction the black lodge was lukewarm at best.
- I actually liked Wally Brando. It was random, but loved the reference to TSHOTP.
- Liked Bobby and liked Chad

You also got to play another version of Cooper, Dougie Jones.Cooperscoffeecup wrote:http://ew.com/tv/2017/05/29/twin-peaks- ... ty-cooper/

That was a fun little departure,. It was all about trying to capture in a few little moments, the awkwardness of that and the reality, of that guy, and the fun of it. He’s s screw-up, a lovable screw up. That was fun. It was very brief, just a day, maybe two days of filming.
Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
One thing I think hasn´t been mentioned:
When it is supposed that Lynch could have filmed Don S. Davis saying "Blue Rose", considering he passed away in 2008 and Lynch first considered to return to Twin Peaks in 2012? The only thing that occurs to me is that shot could have been a missing piece of the original series (or FWWM) never used but kept by Lynch to use it someday somehow somewhere...

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
Chrysta Bell acts like she's an android in a science fiction themed porn movie.
But after seeing her being sent away by Gordon and Alberts reaction to it, I feel like this might be intentional.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
I feel like people are divided in two camps: Diane and Sarah Palmer. At least we know Sarah is drinking.PandemoniumSeesaw wrote: I am really curious about who is the woman Albert "knows where she drinks", any theories?
I for one am betting Diane. Albert wanting to take in a family member of a victim from 25 years ago feels a bit far-fetched. And this is an actual photo from official Twin Peaks instagram: "Emergency contact: Diane" And this is definitely a Coop-related emergency.
