Ok, you can ignore my PM then, that pretty much answered my questionsDeep Thought wrote:Without spoiling, I would say it could have been another 60 minutes of Jacoby's shovel farm and I would have has no complaints. (That may be a little exageration). It's too explicit in some places but properly mysterious in most. I'm already on board, so I know I will love each episode in advance.
edit: explicit as in obvious. But then again I've been in the Lynch game a long time.

F*&^ you Gene Kelly
Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
What time are they normally releasing the episodes to Showtime online subscribers? Two weeks ago I was busy running around all day and all the episodes had been released by the time I got home. Today I'm just sitting around and waiting....
Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
Part 5 shows on X-finity on demand online as available, but I get an error when trying to load it. It's not available via the cable box. So i guess they probably took it down already.
Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
This is a travesty. Absolutely pathetic. I hope that those viewing numbers are factored in to the total.krishnanspace wrote:Episode 5 has leaked again
It seems like these bumbling idiot providers are doing everything in their power to hurt the show's live viewing numbers.

My Xfinity/comcast on demand is letting me watch Episode 5 right now!
Now I have to decide whether or not to stop and wait for the live broadcast this evening.

Anyone who wants to drop me a few teasers on ep5 is welcome. I'll take bits, not whole spoilage. I dunno, use your judgment! God, I'm pathetic.

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (SPOILERS)
Late to the party, just registered to share some things I noticed that hadn't been mentioned last time I read this thread (though they may have been since).
Ep1&2-
- 'Giant' and 'little man' at Beulah/Otis's place?
- Richard & Linda - could be an audio clue (Richard & Linda Thompson- I'll be listening for them)
- The bonsai tree in the glass box room - unlikely it has anything to do with him, but maybe Windom Earle isn't dead. Maybe he wants to be with BOB again.
Ep 3&4
- The woman who pulls the lever, gets electrocuted and awkwardly gets fired away- I haven't close compared them but is it not the same movement as what happened to Laura in the red room?
- Coop as Dougie- I kept thinking about Cooper's (and the show's) themes of of instinct and intuition (remembering the old tibet/throwing stones at glass bottle scene, coop and Major briggs's 'hardware' etc). Episode 4 seems to tighten up the connection between this and the operations of the lodge(s). Coop in the casino seems to be operating on pure instinct, completely unclouded by self-awareness. In no time at all, he just so happens to end up surviving attempts on his life, and win a vast amount of money, which later is revealed to pay off debts (which also looked to threaten his life). There are forces guiding him here, clearly... everyone he encountered did exactly what they needed to do not to help him get to a doctor, but to help him along this specific path, to save his life.
There was more, I'm rewatching now and might post again...
