Reminder. This thread is for active discussion of the two hour premiere of 'The Return'. It is not an all inclusive spoiler discussion. In other words, if your Uncle Joshua worked on the show and knows how Part 9 ends, this is not the place to discuss it. Parts 1 + 2 discussion only.

Guys some of this acting, most of it, is so bad. Like really bad. The plot is great, the cinematography amazing, the acting: not good.

This is fantastic, gorgeous madness and I want these episodes pumped into my veins. "The Evolution of the Arm" is brilliant and MJA must be getting drunk and throwing shit at people over being replaced by that glorious thing.
I hope it pisses off scads of people as per usual, DL is back in town and he's brought the drones!

The visual effects are so bad too... the light face on Laura? The arm being replaced by a talking tree with thing on top...
God this is a travesty.
The CGI is so bad in the red room.
This so predicable and uninspired.
I am crying this is so bad, it's like a part of me has been murdered.

The more I watch the worse it gets. I keep watching hoping it will improve.
This should have never been made. "I'm supposed to go back into the black lodge" like it's a business meeting? Kyle has proven he can't play bad Coop.
I never wanted to love something' so much as this, but damn it's just horrible.
So much cringe.

The first 30 minutes, I was not convinced.

All I'm going to say for now is that I legitimately had tears in my eyes when James showed up at the end. That ending was beautiful. Must sleep now, watch Parts 3+4 tomorrow, and then try to start thinking about what I've just seen.
