Agreed. It looks like they doctored it to minimalize the film grain, but it still doesn't feel entirely of a piece with the digital footage.Jonah wrote:Rewatched the pilot episode. I think the shot of the light at Sparkwood and 21 is the exact same shot reused in Part 6.

It seems to be the exact footage, even down to the sequence of the lights changing colour.
I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.

Will any of this tie into the next hour?OneEyedJack wrote:Pre Ep 7 ?'s:
How many people does Ike kill at Lucky 7 Insurance? Will the police who found Dougie's blown up car license plate info be on the scene too?
How is Mr. C going to escape prison? I am guessing Diane will be going to South Dakota. How will that figure into this?
Which officers are going to the hit and run scene in Twin Peaks? Will Miriam the witness to seeing Richard in the truck driving away be able to identify him or will she be taken care of beforehand?
Lots more but let's get back on truck. Donut, not the hole(s).
Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
There is no light like that in town, nor has there been in 35+ years. It was simply placed for the show. So, yeah....it's an old shot.

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
See? Just a block up. I agree it's meant to be at the intersection, too. Moved when old fat trout closed. Twin Peaks wikia suggests the new Fat Trout is the same fat trout just New and improved - renovated maybe, and the haunted pole got moved just a smidge/ so maybe that's why the geographic coordinates on it are still the same. Or maybe Carl is just remembering the six pole and new fat trout is elsewheresugarhigh wrote:The power pole was filmed at the intersection at the end of the day. Pretty sure it's meant to be at the intersection and not at the old Fat Trout.BigEd wrote:Regarding the power pole. It's appearance in episode 6 is not clearly at the intersection. It is shown, but I don't think there is anything in the background. It may still be in its original location. Also, I don't believe the pole reflected in Richard's windshield was the same pole.indyit wrote:Did a search and it doesn't look like anyone's mentioned this - I read an interesting theory on Reddit today about the pylon/electric pole and the Arm. What it suggests is that the pylon we keep seeing (in Fat Trout in FWWM, on the road in part 6 and on the windshield in the forest) is the Arm/MFAP in disguise, watching over events. That's why we've seen the same pylon with the same numbers in three different locations and it's also why he evolved into an electric tree like creature in the Black Lodge. I thought that was a pretty cool idea! There was more to it (suggesting the Arm had something to do with the Let's Rock on the car and tricking Chet into the lodge by leaving the ring as a trap, harvesting mothers/son's garmonbozia following the accident which Rodd sees), but that's the gist of it.
Btw the manager sign was always on that sign. Both filming locations are 2 miles or less from Twedes/RR

And the word manager was always tacked on to the sign

It's been too long without an early episode leak!

hahaha- I was thinking the same thing!
I have really high hopes for this weeks episode, but I'm sure I'll be frustrated as a result. Rather than build on the Diane and "found pages" revelations, for example, I can honestly see this week going back to Buckhorn and ignoring those developments til next week.

Just a thought, a ridiculous one, nevertheless I've got this gut feeling that these 2 Coopers' worlds will soon be noticed by some citizens of Twin Peaks. All it requires is people watching the news on TV, where they will see a brutal fucking murderer, maybe escaped, and a guy called Dougie who won 30 jackpots in a casino, in one day/hour. They will say: Hey, wtf, that's not "our Coop," and seeing Dougie they go "Here you are, that's our good old Coop again."
I know, it's absurd and I am a bad prophet. Wish it was Sundays, forever.

Re: Part 6 - Don't die (SPOILERS)
Okay, did anyone on here mention that Sonny-Jim's dialogue "I already brushed my teeth" is sorta the inverted version of "I haven't brushed my teeth yet" from the S2 finale? When that clicked in my head I was sorta gobsmacked.

I for one am enjoying the Dougie -Jane-y scenes. And yeah, there are a lot of questions to be answered, but remember it's not the destination, it's the journey. Everything in its own good time.

Just asking how part 6 became another GENERAL (not episode specific) "like it or love it" thread? That discussion is fine, but it is crowding out the discussions of the episodes and their content.
Someone make a like it or love it thread for that conversation, please.

Considering how small the role was, Rosenfield had some great line delivery. 'You're a bad girl, Tracy', '..weird' and the one about not knowing what they'll do if the guard comes back. Casting felt perfect here.mtwentz wrote:She's a bad girl.MoondogJR wrote:I miss Tracy.blue_rose_case wrote:
