There will be no season four.
How do you know that won´t be season four?? I hope you are wrong!
The only reason I think so is because the ratings haven't been good. (Live ratings only, don't know about streaming and reruns)
Yes, "showtime doesn't care", but their investors might.
Howewer I still hope in a season four.

Oh I just realised the part where Janey-E hushes Coop when she's on the phone, and he holds up his own finger calls back to then the woman in the mauve room hushes him when "mother" is knocking. there's even a very telephone-like sound coming from the desk/electric box at the same time.

No idea if that's relevant, but hey.

It's a joke.

Arrrrrrgh, sitting at work dying to see what's in the episode 7 thread but I daren't look before I can watch the episode tonight. I did that for parts 5 and 6 and it ruined some nice surprises.

Please, please don't look. You'll hate yourself for it.

Am managing to resist. The other thing I find difficult is that I queue up the episode on hulu, and it's tempting to quickly scan through and see what plot lines are covered. It's crazy- I spent years avoiding spoilers, then my will power breaks right at the end.

Last week, I opened this thread hoping to see some generic comments ("e.g. wow- love it this week", etc), but instead saw "DIANE!!!!!!!!" :-D

It was pretty cool seeing the Andy scene that I was able to watch while they filmed in North Bend in tonight's episode. I've been waiting for it forever.

I'm thinking that the Knepper and Belushi characters will see "Dougie Jones" on TV and then go after him. Were they actively looking for him? Or did they just want to be informed if he ever came back into their casino?

They knew his name, and their chauffeur took him home, so if they've been looking for him and unable to find him, they're really incompetent. All we know for sure is that they said that the new, very nervous manager should tell them immediately if "Dougie" ever returned to the casino.

A few random thoughts I've been having lately...

What if the body is NOT Major Briggs' body, but instead the Original Dougie Jones (before being replaced with "manufactured Dougie Jones". If this is the case WHEN was the manufactured Dougie Jones manufactured, and when were the bodies SWITCHED...

Another thought, and this is just complete and utter speculation, but I have a feeling something weird is going to go down with Linda's electric wheelchair. Electricity is a vitally important part of the world of Twin Peaks, and I had this vision of coop somehow taking the wheelchair and using it to travel to another dimension or another time (Back To The Future anyone???)

I also had this idea Coop somehow learns to fly / float / hover in his newly born hyper intuitive state.
Take off the wheels and this is what you get: an electric chair. The seat of death, a vehicle to ride the pathless path where the future's past reveals itself.

And now for something completely different: the badge. My gut feeling told me that this enormous obsession by Goop for the badge has something to do with its shape. Janey-E told the guy that her husband, Dougie, likes ...
He's got this thing for
my badge, I don't know...
-He likes...
Then upstairs father Goop sits down on the bed with his son. Its cover reveals the answer: S-T-A-R-s. Goop plays a joyful game with the light that listens to sounds. Clap, clap. The giant is everywhere near, always.

Mind you, a cowboy lamp. Howdie, and a beautiful evening.

Yes, "showtime doesn't care", but their investors might.
Head of Showtime said they had the largest one-day subscriber spike in their entire history on the day the new TP premiered. In Cable TV, especially with premium networks, it's all about the subscribers.

If this is true then we will get more Twin Peaks. Live ratings matter, but subscribers mean more. I had my cable company give me Showtime last year for two years free just to watch the entire turn. There probably a lot of people like me out there who have been milking out cable providers just, so we can watch live or online. If we are getting more Doctor Who with their ratings, we can get more Twin Peaks.

Finally getting around to linking my response to part 6 - http://www.lostinthemovies.com/2017/06/ ... t-die.html. I spent a lot of time discussing the weird effect the accident had on me. Watched it a second time later and still not totally sure what to make of it.

Interesting. I have used the restrooms at DirtFish and it was not the one shown on screen. Perhaps there is a different one in the building.
