really glad that jacques rennault is in it. he was an excellent character in the film
Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
Was curious about the middle page from the missing pages of Laura's secret diary that Hawk and Truman didn't read aloud. Here's a screenshot.
My best interpretation:
There I was with a plastic
pumpkin full of money
and the clothes that Nancy(?)
brought. She's bending
my ear with all sorts of
non-sense. I can't make
out what she's trying
to say but I take it all
in as best I can.
I sure didn't need a
mask today. Some
Halloween!
Thanks to guildnavigator for the help filling in the blanks.

The first scene of Season 1, episode 1 was Josie in the mirror, yes. Can't remember the humming.RainingPostToasties wrote:Was it? The beginning was a touch expository, but I still enjoyed every moment. Glad to see all the threads advance a little.
- Three pages from Laura's diary, and we've only heard the passage we knew would be there. And the one about BOB. The page we got a glimpse at last week contained dialogue from Episode 29, so maybe Laura saw even more in the lodges than we knew about.
- Dougie surviving Ike the Spike was a great moment that I speculated about last week; glad to see they didn't drag it out. Why didn't they kill him off, though...?
- Can't wait to see what this Mr. Strawberry deal is - my original guess was that it was a lodge spirit who tormented the warden, but it may be something more earthly about his past. Maybe the warden had some, ah, alternative lifestyle he wanted to stay hidden.
- Josie's hum. Eerie! Maybe she's lamenting the return of the Bad Cooper.
and wasn't the first scene of the show, josie looking in a mirror humming?
I loved Gordon's whistling. Was he whistling something from the Wizard of Oz? Sounded strangely familiar.

Well it's not Jacques though. It's Jean-Michel Renault. The Brown Lodge wrote:really glad that jacques rennault is in it. he was an excellent character in the film

The ominous shot of the shack's door left ajar. The spook from the jail cell. The hum in Ben's office. God, so good.
The "where's Bing?!" in the diner at the end. Apparently Bing is that musician Riley Lynch plays... what's that about?
Also, was Renault referring to Becky, I wonder? She's blonde but definitely not 15, but I could see Becky getting roped into something unsavoury, considering the Laura parallels.

Seems like maybe Ben really has stopped being a sleaze?BEARisonFord wrote:Really dug this episode, although some of the dialogue was clunky (didn't really need to know if Doc Hayward knew what "Skype" was). loved seeing Ben & Jerry. Hoping some of the people so overly distraught over their initial appearances are eating some crow now, considering it's clear we'll be seeing more of them (or at least Ben). Loved seeing more with Ashley Judd's character.
Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
Call me crazy, but Hawk says only that Annie was a girl that went to "that place" with Coop. He doesn't say that she's dead. In fact, the way he talks about makes it seem like she's alive. If they knew she had died, they might have tied that to a "Bad Coop" phenomenon.
My hopes for a Heather Graham appearance stay alive.

What was the skin the police placed in the ziplock? Was it part of the Arm/Brain Tree?!
God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?

Huh, mask. Laura definitely treated her actual face like a mask when she took it off in the Lodge earlier this season.okjose wrote: I sure didn't need a
