I'm racking my brain of Twin Peaks trivia and trying to figure out the significance of the red shoes he fixates on. All I can come up with was Lill, but that doesn't seem to fit.

Anyone got anything else?

Well, I guess we now know that Tim Roth isn't playing Philip Jeffries.

Roth was most definately directed to act very strangely. As was the laughing detective. Monkeys???

bEST Line of Part 9: "I am not your foot".

I hope somehow Jerry is the one that ties it all together.

Agreed, Jerry has a pivotal role, I would guess.

People keep pointing how parts of THE RETURN recall earlier Lynch works.

The Jerry Horne high in the forest gag = mild DUMBLAND vibes. Just a quick, silly joke. No farting, but that "I am not your foot" voice is almost certainly Lynch. It reminds me of the high-voiced character in the series.

Did Cooper ever see Audrey wearing her red shoes though? Did she wear them around the GN or just at school?
