Isn't Gersten a little old for Steven? Well, I guess we had Nadine and Mike already.

There are location photos of the Mitchum meet up with Dougie in the desert on the internet from long back. I just found them again last week, so I'm glad to see that scene actually happen.

I hope Bobby called an ambulance for that sick girl.

Gersten is older than Steven, but younger guys have sex with older women all the time.

My take was that was a parody of zombie movies/shows.

How was it a parody? Where did the kid come from? I'm just endlessly confused.

I'm gonna have to rewatch that part and the whole episode

It looked like Cole was trying to catch something falling....this was a great episode.

Albert didnt seem to hide the code from Diane.

Cole reminded me of the Rabbits scenes with hands held aloft.

I was surprised Albert didn't hide the code. Maybe they've fed her a red herring - a fish she doesn't particularly care for.

Are Bobby and Shelly separated/divorced now?
Loved Norma silently coaching Becky. The traffic scene afterwards was VERY reminiscent of MIKE's rant in FWWM!

Looks like they are separated.

Very hard to have a lot of sympathy for Shelly right now.

The Badalamenti piece at the end of the episode was new, which was strange because I thought it was going to be Laura Palmer's Theme, and then I thought, "Why would they introduce that in-show?" I thought it was definitely heartbreaking as its name suggested, but still an interesting way to end the episode.

Dana Ashbrook's acting was phenomenal, and I'm glad he has a sizable role. Shelly is such a hypocrite and she never learned her lesson xD Robert Knepper and Jim Belishi have great chemistry together. Also the scene with the FBI team and Mackley with donuts and coffee was shot beautifully.

Yeah, Cole described it as "the policeman's dream", right? Echoing Coop from the pilot.

I guess that's probably the shoot where the promo of Cole eating a doughnut came from.

Cole really is kind of like the old Coop in this series.

So was Cole the only one that could see that portal? I would think everyone else would have been freaking out if they had seen it also.

It was heartbreaking to have to watch Bobby watch Shelly kiss another guy. Also, she was obviously head over heels for the guy. I wonder how long it's been over between her and Bobby since she didn't seem too concerned about Bobby and Becky seeing them together.

Do the Mitchum brothers live in the same Vegas mansion where DeNiro and Sharon Stone live in Casino? The scene with the swimming pool out back looked familiar.

No idea, but I'm pretty sure during production it was reported that this was one of Frank Sinatra's old homes?

Agreed. Shelly is doing everything wrong (and messing with another bad dude - though I suspect she'll find her way back to Bobby because he'll act heroically).

Yeah, by the way she pounced on that guy I think Bobby and her are definitely separated. And yes, I felt like Shelly lost all of my respect in a second when she practically acted like her daughter was rotten eggs just because she saw her crush in the window.
