And the Mitchum bros. scene is one I recall being reported on by people who saw filming. I remember people reporting a scene where Cooper hands Belushi something and he starts howling like a wolf. And there it is.

The first line Dougie-Coop has uttered unprompted.

I liked the angry horn-honking lady.

Bradley says, "Damn good pie" and Coop repeats "Damn good", so not really. Also "HI!!!" in part 4 was his first (only?) non-repeated dialogue.

It may have been repeated but, to my ears, it's the first piece of dialog Coop has spoken since leaving the Lodge that his timbre sounded like Dale Cooper, not Dougie Coop.

Did anyone actually recognize that as Alicia Witt on first watch?

I noticed. Wasn't 110% sure though but the end credits confirmed it was her.

There are location photos of the Mitchum meet up with Dougie in the desert on the internet from long back. I just found them again last week, so I'm glad to see that scene actually happen.

I wonder if the person who took the pictures got to see the scene play out. I wonder what he thought about Cooper acting so weirdly there. I wonder if he heard the name Dougie Jones there.

This might've been the best episode so far.

To answer T.S. Eliot, I think it will all end with a Bang not a wimper.

Everything is on track with my original theory that the pacing will continue to accelerate towards the finish.

Once an exponential growth curve hits a vertical line we will reach the event horizon.

The pacing is on point with that ...

What will be, if any, resolution though?

I had thought Mitchum said "good pie" and Cooper then added "damn good." That's how I heard it at the time. Am I wrong about that?
