I love the floaters in the Fireman's eye. What a stunning episode.

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
Apologies if this had been discussed in previous threads, I've had a tough time keeping up—again, we have characters semi-forgetting their Lodge experiences. In a haze, like a dream. How did Albert and Gordon forget about the details on the day that Phillip Jefferies showed up?
It's bizarre to see a Lodge denizen outside, in the flesh, needing the help of mortals. Naido being in Twin Peaks, wrapped in Lucy's blanket just feels completely unreal.

Can someone update me quickly on "the glitches"?h2nho wrote:Guys...GUYS. This was stunning television.
Everyone's talk about the glitches with Tammy and Phyllis Hastings not being intentional need to take a look at what happens when the trucker is subjected to Sarah's possession stuff. It's that same glitch with time that we've seen. This is intentional, folks!

Re: the gold substance
Totally! I initially thought we saw a negative of the image but now it makes more sense... and one sycamore as opposed to a circle... I wonder if jackrabbits palace (which reminded me of a chair/throne) looked like the throne that Maj Briggs is sitting in after his disappearance in season 2...?

What do we make of the vortex portals? Can they all access the same varied locales and what the characters see in them can change? Or do we think the one in South Dakota only goes to the convenience store and the one in Twin Peaks only goes to the Fireman's residence?

Did Andy see a flashback of himself and Lucy in a hospital?

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
I want to see this happen:
Cooper is in Twin Peaks. Andy sees him and runs to him.
Andy: "Cooper!"
Andy is excited and smiles.
Andy: "I saw the giant, Cooper! I saw the giant too, Cooper!"
Cooper: "You saw the giant too, Andy."
Andy gets a bit more serious.
Andy: "He is actually a fireman!"
Short pause.
Cooper smiles: "Yes he is."
Andy gets even more serious.
Andy: "But I didn't see the little man."
Cooper: "He is a tree now."
Andy: "He is a tree now?"
Cooper: "Yes Andy, he is a tree now."
Andy: "Oh, he is a tree now..."
Andy looks at nothing and thinks for a while,
and then looks back at Cooper and smiles nodding his head.

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
At first that's what I thought he was going to say - seemed weird to me too that he only mentioned the diary. Maybe he didn't want to get the Feds involved until after they had gone there, but why call Cole at all? Maybe he just wanted to gauge Cole's knowledge about the two Coops.thedarktrees wrote:Any ideas as to why Frank would tell Cole about the missing pages and their reference to Cooper, but NOT the info about Jack Rabbit's Palace, given its major connections to Cooper and Briggs?

Andy is moving backwards in the Lodge. Copper moved forwards in time.
Is it becasue Andy was an invited guest? Andy is ready to rock and roll when he gets out, as is Freddie.

Because that's who he is, and because it was unexpected and hilarious. I loved it. What would have been a forgettable scene became a mini classic.blackcoffeemoonlight wrote:Why did that FBI guy in Vegas have a meltdown or go into a roid rage?

Bad CG? Seriously though, I'm on board with everything else but the vortex swirls conjure up images of Sharknado.vicksvapor77 wrote:What do we make of the vortex portals? Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
I think it'll end up being a flashforward. I think Andy and Lucy are critical to the finale. It's definitely footage from the new season and we haven't seen it before.Jerry Horne wrote:Did Andy see a flashback of himself and Lucy in a hospital?

Re: Part 14 - We are like the dreamer (SPOILERS)
It looked like Andy was prepping Lucy before bringing her into a room, to see or identify someone. Everything Andy saw was important, so I imagine there's weight to this Andy, Lucy moment.
God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?
