Great episode, so f****ing pumped for the big finale. Already looking forward to whatever Lynch has to offer in terms of movie or TV stuff next, there has to be more of something, I'm afraid of going cold turkey sometime next month....

I start having some doubts about Ringo, too.... I already know for a fact that he is a tulpa drummer...
And John Lennon was killed by Mark Chapman..."Mark" as in the Owl Cave symbol that Major Briggs had on his skin? And I think Briggs's lips were kind of chapped in one of the original series episodes. So perhaps a tulpa of Briggs was created when he disappeared at the end of Episode 17, and the tulpa traveled back in time to kill John Lennon as part of an initiation ritual to infiltrate the Knights Templar, who secretly inscribed the location of the Holy Grail into Hawk's map to prevent Windom Earle from giving it to Elvis!
Curious how the part ended with Audrey looking into a mirror. It made me think of the first episode of season two where Shelly visits Leo. Leo is in a coma but they have a mirror up close just a few inches from his face.
I don't think this is gonna happen, but it would definitely be quite a shock to have it revealed that we've not been in the real Roadhouse all along - we finally see Julee Cruise perform, and she's totally off key, the building is in disrepair, and the crowd is pitifully small.
Small venues that have developed a reputation for having good bands or for helping to get good bands started often have no trouble pulling in big bands.
That people object to this just shows they've never gone to one of these venues before. When I lived in San Diego a small place called the Casbah brought in big acts like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the Chili Peppers, etc. And these days I'm right down the street from a place in SLC called the Urban Lounge that regularly books big and small bands.
Often I find the people claiming something isn't realistic or is impossible just don't really have any knowledge of what they're talking about. And yet they continue to talk.

It was clearly a nod to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The reason Lynch has Gordon Cole's FBI offices in Philadelphia is so that Cooper and the other agents can receive specialist training in the art of the 'ocular pat down'.

Okay, but the venues are tiny. The argument has been that large acts don't play small venues and it's simply not true.
Perhaps the Roadhouse earned respect by starting "Julee Cruise" out and since then others bands like to stop in Twin Peaks for its reputation and local color? Bands tour all across the states and often make pit stops in surprising places.
With all these big acts at the roadhouse, shouldn't they have some big security requirements? So far we've seen at least 1 (or 2?) fights, unpermitted smoking, a guy starting to choke a girl while threatening to rape her, and a small woman being picked up by 2 large men and forcibly removed from her booth. I guess that the guy that told Richard to stop smoking was part of the security team? He looked more like a bartender though.
Will Julee cruised be announced as "Julee Cruise"? That would be the weirdest one yet.

I'm sure this has been discussed a lot, but humor me as someone who only watched this episode once and didn't much like it. Mr. Cooper said that he received coordinates from three people. One would be Ray, whose coordinates obviously led to the rock. The other would be Jeffries, whose probably led to that as well. However, Diane hadn't yet relayed the coordinates from Ruth's arm, correct? Is this just lazy plotting (not unusual for this show), or am I missing something?
