And what do we make of Mr. C's comment about him being only 25 years older than Richard? Is he only counting his "years on Earth"?
Not sure why this wouldn't make sense. Mr. C told us Richard was his son and that he fathered him 25 years ago (had to be the rape in the hospital).
Right, but the real Dale Cooper was older than 25, and Mr. C - if he only came into existence when Cooper entered the Black Lodge - would have been, technically speaking, perhaps only *days* old at the time.

Obviously Mr. C isn't the most honest guy around, but it's kind of an odd thing to lie about, especially since it could have made Richard suspicious due to the apparent inaccuracy.

And who are the three people that sent him coordinates? Who sent the two matching set vs. the other set? Did Diane ever sent him any as far as we know before this episode? And did Diane send Mr. C the "right" or "wrong" coordinates in this episode?
Diane's coordinates and Ray's both came from the same source, and both were wrong.

Jeffries gave the right coordinates, I assume.
The Jeffries coordinates were the same as the one on Ruth Davenport's arm though, from what I can tell. So are those wrong or right? I assume Jeffries may know he's not really Cooper and was trying to kill him?
Were they the same, or just close?

I confess I haven't memorized the numbers, but since Ray got the Ruth Davenport numbers and so did Diane (from the photo), I assumed those matched and that Jeffries' set would have to be the outlier.

Twin Peaks: The Return is one of the greatest things I've ever seen. Its unpredictability, deliberation, sprawl, mystery, beauty and madness is singular among films, in my experience. I love, love, love, love it. This ride has been ridiculous fun.

Cooper in the original series told Audrey he was 35.

I'm not sure I understand the difference between the two. Would you please explain it to me?

Thanks,

every person has a double- doppleganger.

cooper and then dopplecooper (the one with the white eyes in the season 2 finale).

but you and your doppleganger can create a "tulpa" - using your dna - which is the little gold orb.
But wasn't Dopplecooper "created" when Cooper entered the lodge with "imperfect courage?

So before the Diane theories get out of hand, I just want to get this down in writing:
She says he took her to a gas station (convenience store), then she was suddenly at the sheriff's station.
Then I assume the tulpa had no memory of what happened between then. Meeting Cooper in the "muave room" and being sent into space. In her mind she went to the convenience store and suddenly appeared awaken as Naido in the cell of the sheriff's station.

Are all the Diane connections important?
Candie: Diane C
Linda: Dian L
Naido: Dian O
Nadine: Diane N (a stretch)
Janey-E ..... E
Sandie: Diane S
(Mandie: Diane M but that messes up my word play)
C L O N E S?
Yeah it's a huge stretch, but... who knows? Although if there is a connection at all, I think we'd need to focus on the "Dianes" that are missing an E. So Linda and Naido.
I think Nadine is irrelevant in this case (although saying that probably means she's the most important, since I never get anything right  )
I know I'm contradicting myself in this messy post btw :D

Man I loved this episode
Agent Cooper. Listen to the sounds.
It is in our house now. It all can not be said aloud now.
Remember 4 - 3 - 0
Richard and Linda. Two birds with one stone.
You are far away.

Does he explicitly say that to her in an episode? Do you remember which one?

He will say it when he will see the twin peaks sign, as in s1e1.
After all, he is landing in Spokane

Oops, I missed her. Who did she play? There goes any hope for seeing more of the Great Northern.
She was the doctor who came in to see Coop/Dougie.
Could be the same character. Same with the trucker from TMP becoming a Vegas casino guard. I love this.

A minor point, but wondering what people think about this: WHY would Cooper say that he knows that the Mitchum bros have hearts of gold???

As much as I thought the Mitchum brothers were amazing character in this season, how could Coop of all people come to think they have hearts of gold? I mean they viciously beat one of their employees while firing him when they lost money on the jackpots. I'm not sure they've done a whole lot to redeem themselves since then. Even their care and concern for Dougie is only because they cashed in with a $30M insurance claim because of him. Not so gold-hearted there either.

Maybe the bar is low after being in the Black Lodge for 25 years. I don't know.

I don't see an issue with this, Richard seems to be around 25 years old, so if we assume Mr. C raped Audrey right before disappearing, the timeline makes sense.
Continuing on this idea, because I haven't seen it mentioned here yet. Since Richard was the outcome of Audrey being raped by Mr. C, it would be possible that Diane also has offspring out there too that are half his. Maybe one of the newer characters we've seen at the Roadhouse? Any ideas?
