Well, there it was. I wonder how long it will take to parse what was real and what wasn't. Or maybe it doesn't even matter?
Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
So Audrey isn't just in a coma, she's trapped in the Lodge? I would assume that's the implication from the backwards Audrey's Dance over the credits after her "awakening."
Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
I love how we got the first full version of the title theme as Coop bursts back into the world.
Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
You wouldn't feel like this if all the other episodes weren't the way they were. The Grey Lodge wrote:Now that's what I call a damn cliffhanger!!! Why couldn't all the episodes be like this?

OH MY GOD!!!!!
So the Diane we saw is manufactured. Is the real one dead? In the lodge? Was she ever real? Coop tried to kiss her before?!
Audrey's dance - what a great beautiful and great throwback to the original series! Looks like we are on the way to a Mullholand Drive ending. Charlie is indeed The Cowboy.

That Cooper/Janey E/Sonny Jim scene was heartbreakingly beautiful!
The Mitchum Brothers/Cooper/Candy scene was hilarious and beautiful!
Audrey's dance was so strange and beautiful and shocking!
I just... wow!

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Are all the Road house scenes imaginary? Audrey's story?
There's your roast beef and cheese.
Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
Exactly. The pace and atmosphere of the first half of the season has made the last few episodes far more impactful. Although there have of course been great frustrations along the way, Lynch knew what he was doing with the length of the series.AgentEcho wrote:You wouldn't feel like this if all the other episodes weren't the way they were. The Grey Lodge wrote:Now that's what I call a damn cliffhanger!!! Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
I kind of took it to mean that there's something supernatural/sinister about the Roadhouse. The band playing during the credits seemed ominous. And the fact that the penultimate episode closed out on the Audrey scene suggests to me there's something much bigger and broader at play than just "this one character went nuts."Deep Thought wrote:So Audrey is in the nuthouse. And things play in reverse there. Glad Cooper got out.
Best part ever.

Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
So, Audrey *is* in some kind of hypno-therapy? Cooper asked Gerard to create another Tulpa (presumably of himself?)??
Re: Part 16 - No knock, no doorbell (SPOILERS)
diane was raped and is a tulpa.
