For some reason the possibility of a book tour never occurred to me. That would be amazing.

Posting this here since it's the only confirmed(?) TP related thing at SDCC
The SDCC schedule for Thursday was announced nothing specifically Twin Peaks related. I believe they will announce Friday tomorrow, Saturday on Saturday, etc. http://www.comic-con.org/cci/2016/thursday
This panel sounds cool:

In the panel that wowed Comic-Con last year, take another look back at some of the greatest genre projects that never made it to the silver and small screens, ranging fromStar Trek: The Academy Years and The Beginning, two Trek prequels that were never produced to E.T. 2, David Lynch'sRonnie Rocket to James Cameron's Spider-Man, Buckaroo Banzai Vs. The World Crime League, Wolfgang Peterson's Batman Vs. Superman, and many more. The discussion will include filmmakers Ashley E. Miller (writer, Thor, X-Men: First Class), Charles de Lauzirika (Blade Runner Blu-ray, Twin Peaks Blu-ray), Steve Melching (writer, The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Rebels), Christian Gossett (The Red Star), Thomas P. Vitale (movie and TV producer and former Syfy executive), Marc Bernardin (journalist), David E. Williams (Geek magazine), Luke Ryan (Chaotic Good), and moderator Glen C. Oliver (Ain't It Cool News).

Twin Peaks Won´t be in the comic-com. this was already known for some time. there will be no promotion of the series, or of either book. not surprising because at this point that Twin Peaks is not in the comic-com, when it was known. Until October, do not expect anything.

Showtime TCA IS August 12. My guess is that a release date for the upcoming show will be revealed, and possibly a teaser trailer.Harry S. If we keep creating dates in our heads we'll only be disappointed... just let it come when the time is right

Wow! Where's this from? Is this the highest resolution available? Reverse image search gave me nothing.
I'm seeing some handwritten, partially torn stuff..

The publisher posted it on social media. I think it's the best res thus far.Soolsma wrote:Wow! Where's this from? Is this the highest resolution available? Reverse image search gave me nothing.

That's terrific! Still tough to make much out on the higher res version, but very intriguing. There's a file page from Calhoun Memorial, and another file page about a US Air Force volunteer. Looks like Mark made ample use the TV show's prop department in preparing this book!
Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
Holy crap- that's awesome! This book is going to be great. We were discussing on Twitter if people would read the book first, or listen to the audiobook first. I think reading the book first is the way to go if there is going to be extensive visual aspects. More interactive and immersive. Can't wait!
