Ha!!! I'm praying most of these mistakes aren't part of S3 itself...
I guess we'll have to start a continuity error list/thread...

I can't remember, where do they mention Steeplejacks?

I suspect there'll be continuity errors in the show proper that dwarf anything in the book.

Leland mentions the Steeplejacks, IIRC.

Steeplejacks is also mentioned in Ep 17... also where Nadine's maiden name is established I believe.

I for one, couldn't care less about these so-called continuity errors.

It's all a dream anyway.

Tommy Westphall's dream, in fact.

This is a good idea, if they are actual errors.

However, for the moment I'm in the 'it's all deliberate and we'll find out soon what the meaning of all this is'-camp. Maybe the archivist just made some mistakes...

If it would turn out that these are genuine mistakes, I'll be dissapointed.. MF should've fact checked everything, or should've involved a super-fan (I know there are a lot of them here on this forum) like I think they do with Game of Thrones...

Can we instead get a full summary of all the alleged discrepancies so far, including Nadine's? I've heard about a school team name mix up, Nadine's backstory problems with Ed, Norma's name issues, where the town is actually located (northwest or northeast), the tattoo problem... wtf?

I agree it would be a good idea to start a separate thread about the discrepancies/plot holes, etc.

Hi everyone, long time lurker here. So a few days ago I read the first pages of the book on this very thread. Not all of it, just 3 or 4 pages. And on one of the page, the first or second one If I remember right, there was a sentence in which Gordon Cole was (I'm paraphrasing there) quoting an old friend of his that said something about Mystery. Something about why/how Mystery is an essential part of our life (paraphrasing again) because everyone like mysteries, or something to that effect. So does anyone who read the excerpts remember something like that? I really like the quote but when I came back to write it down the pictures where taken down. Thanks!

Let's wait till the book comes out to allow it the chance to explain some of the discrepancies.

And if there are mistakes, hopefully people take it easy on Mark via social media. We're trying to encourage him to write another one.
