I'm sure there will be an explanation for these discrepancies, one way or another, probably not an alternate timeline/multiverse thing.

aaand spoilers:
Douglas Milford was once listed as an FBI special agent for Continental Air Command

it seems it's unknown what happened to G. Briggs

Just thinking about the content of the book and the links to UFO sightings, bigfoot sightings and Native American folklore. It really reminds me of the stories surrounding Skinwalker Ranch. Anyone familiar with this?

There's even talk of a portal to another dimension being present in the surrounding area...

As long as we're going there, we might as well throw in David Paulides and his 'mysterious disappearances in the woods/rural areas'. :-)

Yup, I absolutely thought of that too with the pages outlining the kids going missing in the woods. This book is ticking so many boxes for the kind of things I read about or listen to podcasts about. Couldn't be happier. :D

By the way, Amy Shiels doesn't even have a Wikipedia entry. Guess she will probably have one by the time Twin Peaks airs.

I'm more inclined to think the continuity problems are what they seem to be- mistakes.

I'd find that really quite disappointing. Especially the Ed and Nadine back story issue. I mean, if you're undertaking a project of this magnitude, how difficult is it to whip out the DVD's of old episodes and make sure you are not treading on the toes of what has come before?

That being said, an alternative timeline doesn't really appeal to me either. Not with regards to this book at least. I'd be prepared to give it a go on screen but I don't think introducing it in the book would be a good idea.

I might accept that the smaller continuity glitches are mistakes, but there is no way I believe Mark Frost botched Ed and Nadine's story through sheer carelessness. That shit's deliberate.

One can only hope.

Not saying this won't be the case. Just that right now, my guess is they are just errors. I certainly can't think of any reason why most everything would fit correctly except for Nadine's history. But we shall see.

Maybe Ed did his own form of retconning on Nadine!

There is a line in the book which strongly suggests there will be more.

TP: I'm guessing that if, and only if, they find my work up to date acceptable they will have me begin breaking down the other data, which I have not yet seen.

If the fanpage is correct.. next year around the same time?

I know right? Weird since it's obvious Frost did a thorough history research for the book (Lewis & Clark, the Illuminati, etc) but apparently forgot to check the show itself.

I haven't read all the posts on here yet, but seeing Twin Peaks Lumberjacks instead of Steeplejacks sort of crushed my soul.
