She said that if she had been involved in the re-release of the diary in 2011 that she would have loved to have had those pages included as bonus material.
And last entry from Harold's letter.
I was under the impression the last entry of the book was semi-noncanonical, in that it is explicitly said to be the last page and the last entry in the diary, and then in the show Donna receives the unrelated final page.

I had no idea the torn out pages were anything more than a narrative device - I didn't know there were actual entries written and deleted by TPTB. That's fascinating.

When the diary was first released there was a rumour going round that the missing pages could be purchased separately in a limited edition. The hours I spent searching to no avail.

Does anyone know if this will be available outside of the US? I'm in the land of Oz and went to the both the Audible and Amazon preorder pages and, sadly, no dice! I can't find anything online about international release dates.

The second clip of her reading the poem is absolutely bone-chilling.

Quick question: what came first, this book or the episode Donna tells her story to Harold?

If I recall correctly, the book came out sometime in the summer of 1990- the hiatus between S1 and S2.

I believe it was originally published on September 15, 1990. (15 days before the Season 2 premiere on September 30, 1990)
