If I recall the newly packaged season one set was distributed by CBS DVD, the Universal logo was (and is) no longer there.

I got my goldbox from an Aussie fleabay seller-never regretted it .
Its R2,PAL and the quality is superb.
I couldnt cope being at the mercy of some penpusher in a distrubutors backoffice any longer so I got off my backside and got a set brought over myself.

Playback are very pleased to announce exclusively that at last we are able to release Twin Peaks Season 2 on DVD in the UK for the very first time. The deal has just been signed and the release is planned for the second of February 2010.

Dugpa, you've made my year. I just hope they produce something akin to The Gold Box.

Wow, I imported the season two box set and the Gold Box from America a long time ago.

I'd be willing to pick-up this new UK set if it contains anything new. I wish it would include the "Previously on Twin Peaks" bumpers.

I hope the transfers are better than the info in the press release!

Anybody who hasn't imported the Gold Box by now deserves bad transfers.

It should include the "Previously on Twin Peaks" segments as these were included on their Season 1 set. Also, all "Previously" segments were used in the original VHS releases in the UK, so I feel confident they will be used for this release. :-)

Looks like the Gold Box will be out on the same day as Season 2:

Has anyone got the UK season 2 DVDs yet? I got Season 1 when it was released but since I've already got the gold box (imported Dutch version) I don't think there's any reason for me to get Season 2. However, if Season 2 has the "Previously on..." and "Next on..." clips (like Season 1 does) then I might pick it up. Can anyone confirm if they're on the Season 2 DVDs?

I had a look at the UK gold box. It doesn't come with any postcards so I'm glad I got mine when I did!

Judging from the back of the set, there's nothing new at all. :(
