Shelly's Parents

Are Shelly's parents mentioned in any of the scripts? She is the only young character that does not mention her parents at all. I wonder if they lived in Twin Peaks?

I dunno. She must have been a latchkey child with absentee parents with her dropping out of high school and marrying Mr. Scumbag, Leo.

i'm guessing they disowned her for dropping out and marrying leo. i would have....and i wonder how long shelly had been married to leo? i'm guessing she had to have been at the very maximum age of 16 when she met him. they never say her exact age but i'm guessing she's supposed to be 18 or 19.

Laura was certainly not a 'latchkey child' with absentee parents and look what happened to her. Besides, Leo at least took the time out of his busy schedule to show Shelly the proper way to clean the floors.

that sounds more like self punishment to me! i'm guessing ronnette was a latchkey child as well.

seriously, where does leo meet these girls...(i'd like to know so i can hang out there! hahaha)

i find these hypothetical discussions pretty amusing...now my future daughter is going to end up married to a leo! atleast james can blame his mom for messing him up...

better yet, where did leo's parents go wrong...hahaha. his family could have made a good plot point somewhere as well.
