how come there's no twin peaks bluray and there's 1080p ???

i mean, dvd resolution doesn't go further than 720 x 576 pixels...

I can confirm that it is pure 1080p, not upscaled. It's just that they have master the high-def version, but not created the disc-based product yet. Death Becomes Her isn't available on Blu-ray either, but there's a 1080p version on Netflix.

Grabbed season 1 in 1080p and will start watching season 1 again tonight.

This is probably the 4th time I will have bought the series.

Yeah, the whole series is true 1080p on iTunes and looks phenomenal. There's some noticeable compression artifacts in some of the really dark scenes, but it's otherwise stellar. Thank God the entire series was shot on such high-quality film.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one who noticed that. The Blu should and will be better.
