I've been thinking this. For one thing the card is very inexpensive that they are printed on, the kind they make the box you get your corn flakes in, and the printing is not up to much.

The first thing I thought when I first saw them was, it wouldn't need a master forger to do a batch of these. I would bet that someone already has their printer going, ready to drip feed ebay buyers with bogus postcards.

Also, I agree with what you say DonnaNotYou.

47. Laura on the slab
48. Agent Desmond and Cooper
57. Finger and chess board

I received my shiny box, finally. And here's what i got:

#11 - The log lady
#12 - BOB ( )
#15 - The gas station
#17 - Harry S. Truman
#35 - The owl ( :D )
#36 - David himself (yes!)
#39 - The Roadhouse
#40 - The Giant ( :D )
#44 - Albert Rosenfield
#46 - Ronette Pulaski (one of my favorites  )
#48 - Dale Cooper and Agent Dennis (very nice :) )
#53 - Shelly Johnson (pretty! )

I'm very excited about the series, i'll watch the pilot for the first time today.
I'm gonna turn the red lights in my room, light some nice cinnamon incense, and then i will make some hot black coffee. Let's rock.
There's a place i'd like to show you. Near the ocean. It's very secluded.
I think you'll understand me better if you come with me.

Well, I've been very busy, so I just opened up my box. Here's my pics:

12-BOB
18-Hawk
19-Laura's Homecoming Pic
26-One Eyed Jack's Sign
28-Deer Head
35-Owl
36-GORDON COLE :D
39-Roadhouse Sign
40-Giant
41-Roadhouse in a storm
47-Coop finds a letter under Laura's nail in the morgue with Harry :D
58-Glastonberry Grove

I like the Starpics Cards better. These didn't thrill me much.

Finally got my Gold Box today, after paying the customs' charge - the bloody thing arrived nine days ago into the UK!

I'm really pleased with my postcards:

01: Welcome to Twin Peaks sign
02: The opening bird
03: Packard Saw Mill
08: James sitting next to his bike
09: Bobby during his interview with Harry and Coop
13: Cooper with map of Tibet
32: Bob illustration
50: Shelly and Gordon laughing
55: Windom Earle goin' fishin'
56: Annie smiling
59: The Black Lodge Corridor
61: Laura, wrapped in plastic

It's lovely to finally have a decent copy of the pilot alongside the European version, which I have on VHS. I'm also really, really glad I've got my Artisan US Boxset, as that clearly contains the definitive versions of Episodes 2-8 (sorry, I always class the pilot as Ep 1).

Yeah, I'm really pleased with the postcards, I'm just debating whether I should sell my Season 2 boxset which I bought while I was in America - the UK doesn't have a release date at the moment.

Ok, so woe is me. After almost a month, I FINALLY receive my TP Gold Box but it is blighted by two things - a huge import duty fee (which rarely happens me) and a missing postcard. Yes, that's right, a missing post card. I got 11, not 12. Has this happened to anyone else?.... Should I contact someone and complain? But whom? I guess it's out of Amazon's hands, I mean the DVD set was sealed...

Anyhow, here's the postcards I got:

11. Log Lady flicking lights at the town meeting.
12. BOB in the hospital basement.
14. Lucy reading the Tibet book at her desk.
15. Big Ed's Gas Farm at night.
35. The owl (nighttime, on tree branch).
36. David Lynch as Gordon Cole.
39. The Bang Bang Bar neon sign reflected in the puddle outside the Roadhouse.
40. The Giant.
44. Albert.
46. Close-up of Ronette Pulaski on bridge.
53. Shelly Johnson.

Hi Jonah, Amazon.com are usually pretty good with replacements. If you use their website replacement service stating that the item has missing parts, they should send you a replacement copy - the good news is the replacement won't have a charge, so you won't pay another custom duty.

Woo! I got postcards!
(I guess this kills the myth about there only being postcards in R1 and in Germany once and for all)

53 - Shelly
29 - Audrey as Prudence
45 - Denise
40 - the giant ("it is happening again")
31 - Leland - ("I'm baaaaack!")
57 - Windom Eearle makes a move
15 - the Gas Farm
18 - Hawk
25 - Laura as "the cousin"
47 - Laura, Coop and Harry
27 - the Tibet scene
48 - Coop and Dennis

-I can't believe I actually got two Duchovny cards. In fact, I can't believe there ARE two Duchovny cards. Post-fame revisionism, perhaps?
-The Leland card was the only one I really wanted. One of my fave scenes in the whole series. ("Sing mares eat oats and does eat oats aaaaaand liiiiiiiiiiittttttllle laaaambs eaaaaat iiiveeeeeeeeeeeey")
-Audrey, Shelly and Hawk are nice too. What's the deal about a gas farm card? That's just lame.
"Who's the towhead? Those drugs are LEGAL!"

Thanks dat500. I've requested this. Unfortunately, Amazon.com DO charge you - THEN refund you - so could still get a second custom's charge. We'll see... Also, no idea if the box they send me out will still have postcards with them...

Damn Even - you got nearly all the best cards!

I did break down and get the Windom bird watcher and Annie cards off eBay, but i only paid $3- and $9- so what the hell, you only live once. Oh and i picked up the Lucy one for $3- also...
