Sorry for my lack of knowing even though I've watched the movie four or five times but who is the MC ?

The announcer at Club Silencio.
(I was taking a page from Cabaret in calling him the MC, since the MC in Cabaret is clearly a death-figure.)

Thanks for clearing this up for me. The next time I'm going to watch Mulholland drive I need to pay extra attention to that guy.
