Blue Velvet & The City Of Lost Children connection

I apologize if I'm repeating information here but when Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Delicatessen, Amelie, Alien Resurrection, Life of Pi) was making "The City Of Lost Children" with his directing partner Caro, he hired Angelo Badlamenti to score the movie.
The only directive Jeunet said to Angelo was "Blue Velvet Track Number One." And if you listen very closely to the Soundtrack to "The City Of Lost Children" that's what you hear throughout!
