Suggestion: separate forum for new series or spoiler tag

As the premiere approaches, I wonder if it might not make more sense to create a new forum for Twin Peaks 2017, rather than simply have a "Season 3" section for specific episodes under the same Twin Peaks forum.
It seems to me that the new series is very much its own entity, distinct from the old Peaks - not to mention it's over a quarter of a century later, which sort of disqualifies it as a third season, in my opinion. I think it warrants being treated as a whole new series in the same setting. I don't think it's just semantics. For what it's worth, neither Showtime nor Lynch have referred to it as Season 3, as far as I recall.

In any case, there will predictably be a torrent of activity during the airing, with hundreds of users flooding the forum with threads - maybe it's a good idea to separate the discussion for old and new Twin Peaks into two forums, so those who wish to talk about the old series in its own context can do so without having to navigate through what will, undoubtedly, be a majority of threads dedicated to the new.
I think it would just be a more orderly approach overall.

Also, shouldn't the countdown be fixed to a single timezone, instead of taking the user's into account? The series sure isn't airing at 9pm where I live.

I originally considered it but at the same time I feel there will be a lot of crossover which is why I never separated FWWM and TV Series. Will see how it plays out and decide then.

Technically, yes however it's a bunch of code and don't have the time to spend to do it.

Alright. How about spoiler tags? I think they would come in really handy.

Most of the time the spoiler tags don't work for me. Sometimes when I click one, another one is revealed. Mostly they simply don't work at all and I have to click quote to see what was written there.

Unfortunately it is a free plugin and no real support from the author. It could be your browser or something else.

We may overhaul the board in a few weeks and it may fix itself but in the meantime I would suggest trying a different browser to see if it gives a different behavior as it works fine on Safari and Tapatalk.

I have similar problems as Soolsma on Safari 10.1.1. Spoilers tags often show the spoiler above the one I clicked or else just nothing.

I have the same problem in Chrome, Firefox and Opera.

Curious about the forum overhaul. But I have to say: I really like the way it looks now.
