I don't know if Ronnie Rocket will ever get made. The screenplay has been easy enough for anyone to find. So the mystery and secrecy that surround Lynch productions would not be there.
I believe MJA was always the front runner to play Ronnie Rocket. So who would play the part now? Maybe some kind of special effect, like the Eraserhead baby meets the Evolution of the Arm.

There are two versions of the script available online, both dating to the 1980s and both with definite overlap but also massive differences from one another. He might have done anything with further drafts of the story in the three decades since the available versions (especially since he has continually said there is something wrong with the script that he hopes to one day figure out). There’s plenty of room for new mystery, not to mention the fact that Lynch’s movies are far more driven by mood than plot — the onscreen version of Eraserhead, for instance, could never come close to being embodied in a script. Everything Lynch has said indicates to me that he wants to physically spend time in the world of Ronnie Rocket before his time on this planet is up.
MJA was actually the second choice to play Ronnie, after Dexter Fletcher (Bytes’s Boy in The Elephant Man, and more recently the director who finished Bohemian Rhapsody when Bryan Singer went AWOL) outgrew the part. I’m sure Lynch could comfortably find a way to recast or reconceive the role, if that’s where his muse takes him.
This is pretty interesting, especially considering Mark Frost writing the forward of the book, and the connection to Twin Peaks being made so explicit. Let's hope that it does well and brings about more interest in Twin Peaks.
Nothing much regarding Season 4 came out of Jake Wardle's AMA but he did say his props/costumes were taken away maybe for a future season? Also he said he would love to be in Season 4 https://www.reddit.com/r/twinpeaks/comm ... d_freddie/
Haven't posted here in a minute, but Kyle tweeted this out this week... Ordinarily, I wouldn't make much of it, BUT...it's a Twin Peaks reference and he included the "hand over mouth" emoji, so....there's something Peaks related he can't talk about. Make of that what You will

Eh, he made a joke about escaping the cold by unwittingly slipping into the red room, and the emoji just looks like a hand over a giggling face.
To take things ridiculously too far, "emojipedia" says:
Face With Hand Over Mouth
A face shown on most platforms with smiling eyes, seemingly concealing a laugh. This might be considered a cheeky emoji, although often less so than the cheeky monkey covering its mouth.
Also didnt Jerry's Twitter account post something like being off of Twitter until Feb 21 or until an announcement is made?
The announcement , I assume to be Season 4
