I have it on a Japanese video somewhere. I'll try and track it down. Anyone else have it handy?

I'm guessing it involves Yukon Jack, and something else to make it blue, and possibly carbonated?

I googled it and the discussion came up on the gazette, so you might want to go over there and ask. I'll send a few emails.

Just checked in with the Gazette and they are actively looking for it, so hopefully we will have it soon!!!
Looks like it has Yukon Jack whiskey, black coffee, raspberry liqueur and possibly some chocolate liqueur like Godiva, but nobody knows the exact recipe, yet.

Excellent, thanks for sharing. I'm tempted to try something based on these ingredients!

Ok, I'm quoting 12rainbow from the Gazette:

"2 years ago we were brainstorming ideas for one. People have asked this so much I used to link the question back to the last, which would contain a link to the last, which would... you get my drift. Someone just needs to bust out their WowoW Visual Soundtrack VHS and post the recipe in the FAQ!

(I'm going home for Christmas break where all my Japanese TP tapes are, so if no one has theirs handy, I'll take one for the team and post it.)

Until then, let's come up with our own again. That was fun. I'll start:

in a mug:

1 1/2 oz. of Yukon Jack

fill 3/4 with hot black coffee

fill the rest of the way with black raspberry liqueur

float 1/2 oz. of Godiva chocolate liqueur on top- may substitute with chocolate syrup"

So maybe that will work. Let me know how it tastes. Looks like we've started a full-out search for the real recipe now.

Just to save people time - the recipe is NOT on the Japanese Visual Soundtrack.

Well, I guess 12rainbow thinks it is. Are you sure?

Yes, I'm sure. It was shown as part of the WOWOW Twin Peaks marathon of every episode on Japanese television. However, the film crew simply goes into a bar in North Bend and asks the waitress there to make it. It's much lighter in color than what we see on screen and has no froth. Unless the recipe is discovered on some official Lynch/Frost paperwork, then there may be no official recipe. However, here is what is presented:

Pour 1 shot Yukon Jack

Pour 1 shot Blackberry Brandy

Dash of Bitters

Put in blender with ice

Blend about 5 seconds

Thanks Jerry! But it doesn't sound as good as the almost-recipe I got.

I just went to the Gazette and saw you posted more about it there; will you please post over here so everybody knows the story?

So when did Cooper get his??

During Leo's trial, Sid serves Sternwood, Truman, and Cooper the drinks, at Sternwood's request. Cooper doesn't drink his, but looks on as the others do.
