Ironically I just finished my latest TP marathon last night and had time to sneak in FWWM as well. It had been over 10 years since I watched it last. It brought back many memories. I remember an old friend of mine and I had a running gag of asking each other 'Are you hungry?' in only the way Leland could!

It makes you wonder how long some of these songs are that we only hear a fragment of. After all, only a small part of 'Josie and Truman' is heard in the series, yet it is one of the longest tracks on the 'more music' cd.

Did you catch the music that is played when Laura is talking about falling faster and faster with Donna?

I really hope they fix the audio in the Partyland scene when and if a special edition comes out. Their voices were mixed too high if I remember right.

I agree. Many of the songs we only have heard a taste. 'Josie and Truman' is a wonderful track that we only heard just pieces of in the Series. It is such a powerful song. Same goes for 'Half Heart'.

The song played during the "Faster and Faster" scene is "Girl Talk" from the Twin Peaks Montage however, the version in FWWM is an alternate mix with the bass mixed much louder. It is definitely extended from the montage version and then fades into the wind sound and then fades into the Voice of love.

Also I caught another one. At the end where they play Laura's Theme, it fades into Half Heart for a bar or two at "I do love you James, let's get lost together" and then fades into the Love Theme at "Even Donna doesn't know me". All with the mysterious "wind" sound coming in and out.

So many beautiful tracks unreleased. What a shame.

As for the mix on FWWM, I'd love to have the original as I am one that absolutely loves the original mix versus a new 5.1 mix or at least have the option to choose like the Gold Box set. I believe the original was done by the guy that mixed all of the Lord of the Rings films.

Cool! Anyone have any thoughts on what to name some of the tracks above? I can't really proceed until then...

Here's my thoughts. For the song at 10:43, I'd call it "Saddle Shoes" or maybe Audrey's Saddle Shoes. There are similar scenes that use a similar or the same beat but I think just to help simplify things, maybe an unnamed song after the scene that the song was first used it.

I think that's what Lynch and Badalamenti did. Or maybe not. Did "New Shoes" really first appear in the Leo "New Shoes" scene? What about the Audrey Prayer song? I think the Major's Dream was the first occurrence but could be wrong.

As for the other unnamed track. That's a difficult one. It is used quite a bit and doesn't really define anyone in the Pilot at least. Maybe a generic theme is best for now until you can maybe connect it to a specific character. Maybe something like "Unnamed - Dark Mood" or something similar.

Also, I was going to suggest that you contact the guy that put this page up:

http://www.youtube.com/user/Notinthere

to see if he will update his clips with the unreleased music minus what has already been released in the recent CD.

That Youtube guy has exquisite taste, based on what he starts off his TP clips video with. We need to get him posting here with his resources!

I'll take Remembrances (the first track), James' Theme and Tingling Sensation from his montage.

Thanks guys. I've decided to call it Dark Vision. This mixes the darkness of the track and the scene where it is heard most prominently in the Pilot - Sarah's vision at the end.

I wish Lynch/Badalementi would just release the box set so we would not have to go through this!
