Post by dugpa »

This was recently sent to me so I wanted to hep spread the word...

AUDITIONS!!!

ARE YOU A TWIN PEAKS FAN?

Twin Twin Peaks is an episode length fan film, written collectively by 12 fans, and adapted for screen by a Portland State University MFA student. We will be shooting on weekends between January 15 and February 28. Time commitments vary between characters, however on average actors will need to be available for one to two days. Auditions will take place from December 10 ' 19.

Please note that this is a student film, all actors are working on a volunteer basis. In compensation, all actors will receive free meals, a DVD copy of the film, as well as production credits.

Please submit a brief description of your experience and interests to:

Also, I believe Helen attended the festival a few years back (2007?). She was from Toronto at the time. Maybe some of you remember her? I can't wait to see the project, and wish I was going to be in Portland.

Sounds like a great project, thanks for the heads-up Dugpa. Be interesting to see if it ends up online anywhere after it is complete! Just curious, any clues as to the plot and how linked it will be to either FWWM, the series or maybe something completely new?

I got an email from Helen and they are still looking for some male actors. Anyone know anyone in the Portland area, please spread the word. They don't have to be professional, just fans who are enthusiastic.

Fan Film Fotos

Post by thiebes »

Yesterday I spent about 14 hours (including the bus ride) working on a shoot for a Twin Peaks fan film. We went up to Paulsbo to do a couple interior scenes in the Great Northern. I'm playing Doc Hayward.

I took some photos throughout the day:

By the way, an argument to your signature... the morning of the shoot, we all gathered at Voodoo Doughnut in Portland, Oregon. Their motto is, "The Magic is in the Hole."

Hey, thiebes, I like that, "The magic is in the hole," but I'm quoting DL.

In answer to your questions, we have another thread, titled "Twin Peaks Fan Film,"
but I don't think it matters which one you post in. Since you are THE MAN, the only one we know who is actually acting in it, you might as well just post in here.

That's great; so the film will be shown at the Twin Peaks Festival! Many of our members have been and go all the time. But maybe you can lead those of us who can't go to the DVD.

I think our esteemed administrator, dugpa, may have the original link. He posted the original story on the front page of this site, www.dugpa.com on Dec. 19.

See you around.

Hi again all. Just so you know, the album has been updated. Using the same link above you will see there are new photos.

Also I found out that since it is a fan film, to avoid any impropriety there will not be a DVD for sale. I will keep folks posted here though, about any news of availability or viewings.

A website for the project is in development as well, which will feature more photos and stuff. More on this later!
