Blue Velvet Font

Postby Indifferent43 » Sat Feb 20, 2010 1:14 am

I've been trying to find the exact font used for the title sequence of Blue Velvet, does anyone know what it's called? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try Snell Roundhand for the names, with added flourishes that possibly could have been hand drawn at the time.
The other font used for "Produced by" "Directed by" etc. looks like Palatino Italic. I couldn't quite tell for sure, but that looks close.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much! I'm so grateful. Snell Roundhand seems to be it.
