I always associate "Dark Mood Woods" with the Log Lady because of those Bravo intros.qbin2001 wrote:It just struck me. Most of the important (or less important) TP's characters have it's own tunes... except Log Lady! Strange... What (un)released track fits best for her?
Can't wait for new track(s)! Dean, Dick Tremayne Swing please!
Good call on Dick Tremayne Swing! You know, Dick could warrant his own bundle. That one, Great Northern Piano #4 (played during the wine tasting), Twin Peaks Theme Solo Harp (from the Little Nicky scene), and let's not forget the Attack of the Pine Weasel.

Hope I'm wrong, but I'm skeptical about getting the The Swan (instrumental). Isn't it owned by Warner Brothers because they produced the Julee Cruise Floating Into the Night album?
The shot of Josie and Truman staring out at the water in the Pilot reflecting on the murder of Laura in the past 24 hours.
Is this too obscure a track to be released?

I hope they'd be able to release it but you're right, there could be a copyright issue.coolspringsj wrote:Hope I'm wrong, but I'm skeptical about getting the The Swan (instrumental). Isn't it owned by Warner Brothers because they produced the Julee Cruise Floating Into the Night album?

On the other hand, maybe WB only owns the Julee Cruise vocal version. The synth track might belong to Angelo. Here's hoping! What makes me somewhat optimistic is they've been able to release things like Girl Talk, Birds in Hell, and alternate versions of WB soundtrack cuts like Freshly Squeezed, Love Theme, etc. I'm sure the devil is in the details of the contracts.

Only difference I notice (don't know if it matters) is those other tracks have appeared in some form on previous Twin Peaks soundtrack releases whereas The Swan did not. Who knows? I'm no copyright expert.

I really doubt there is a legal issue of releasing a different mix of 'The Swan'. After all, there has been no problem releasing different mixes of songs from the original soundtrack. Both are Warner Bros. I believe.

LELAND'S REMORSE
YOU KILLED MIKE
LAURA'S DARK BOOGIE (clean orchestral)
LAURA PALMER'S THEME (echo background)
YES, YES, YES on all four of these!! I really want to complete the FWWM soundtrack, and what better year to do it than the 20-year anniversary of the film! And I'll be patient and wait for as long as it takes, just as long as Dean doesn't forget about these...

Right- its heard in that scene, but most probably not actually part of the WLR track. Actually who knows if its anything more than just a sound effect at this point.bosguy1981 wrote:Yup . I think Giant's Theme is the part that sort of sounds like bells ringing before the giant appears.coolspringsj wrote:The buzz around White Lodge Rumble is off the charts
Let me get this straight. Is WLR the track that plays during the painfully (for mainstream America*, not me ) long scene where the waiter gives Dale the thumbs up about 6 times while he is bleeding on the GN hotel room floor?
Is the Giant's Theme a part of WLR?

Hope Dean hasn't closed the doors shut on the FWWM soundtrack just yet. Still remember the night that massive bundle was released and listening at 3am in the dark and being shocked and speechless at how evil those tracks sounded!Fred&Ginger wrote:LELAND'S REMORSE

Listening to Circumference of a Circle as we speak. Ahhh, the depravity!

And alternate version from James & Evelyn scene - there is different synth timbre!Sneaky Audrey (Reprise)
Sneaky Audrey (Solo Synth)
And what about:
BOB'S DANCE
EARLE'S FIRST VICTIM - Cooper finds Eric Powell's corpse (BTW it really has some similarities with Leland's remorse)
LELAND'S DANCE - if even it's not Badalamenti's music but as we remember Mister Snooty is also not him
PALE HORSE
SHELLY (clean) - mute solo
SPELUNKING - if even it's just a bridge
No, it seems it's another theme as it sounds different than WLR.I think Giant's Theme is the part that sort of sounds like bells ringing before the giant appears.
I'm not X-files fan but... damn, the truth is really out there!

Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
I wonder if, with relatively little left, and maybe not too many pieces that would sell well as 'singles', we're moving onto something like a fortnightly release schedule with bundles for the hardcore.
It would be fascinating to know even rough sales figures for these. I wonder which individual release would top the charts...

It will be interesting to hear the full versions of these slow-speed orchestral tracks from the series (also "Dugpas") and then try to see if any of them were also used in the FWWM mixes, as was the case with 24 Hours, Unease Motif, etc.DEniZZrus wrote: And what about:
