Will know more next week after the process for the Sheriff Dept. mugs becomes clearer, but both of these mugs will be more expensive than the ones last year. The quantities are "less than minimum" for the printers, and it took forever to find a printer willing to work with vintage mugs. Most screenprinters make a large portion of their profit on whatever wholesale "canvas" they are printing on (mug, shirt, etc). When they are being provided mugs, and only 50 of them, it quickly becomes: "Sorry, but this isn't worth our time." We went to many different printers in the Los Angeles area before we could find one who would agree, and they weren't cheap. The Pyrex mugs were obtained on ebay over the course of 6 months in small batches.

The Double R mugs will be about $19, but the Sheriff Dept. mugs will be more. And thanks to Jerry for having the idea of the Sheriff Dept. prop reproduction mug in the first place last Fall! Both of these mugs, the prop reproduction photo, and 1 other surprise will be available later this month. More info soon.

Tomorrow is the last night to see FWWM 20! If anyone's interested, the gallery thought they sold them all, but they just found a few more of the small Bruce Bickford sculptures of Cooper and Laura (as seen in the YouTube video posted a while ago)-- prices are between $200-$300. They are expecting a small crowd for the closing night tomorrow, so contact Copro Gallery soon if you're interested.

We're still a couple of weeks away. Wasn't happy with how the printing turned out on the Sheriff Dept. mugs, so I'm having the company redo the whole order. (They looked OK, but they can be better.) The Double R mugs are done, but we should also have another surprise ready in a couple of weeks as well.
