I'm sorry, but all I can think of is Oprah.
Yup, Truman is Steadman in the "Northwest Passage" script.

Episode 12... Andy takes a phonecall when he's covering the front desk for Lucy. This is just before he calls about his "semen's analysis."

26. INT. SHERIFF'S STATION RECEPTION AREA - NIGHT

The last half hour before closing up. ANDY BRENNAN concludes a bravura evening manning the switchboard. His chest and surrounding area are covered with yellow post-it notes.

ANDY
(into phone)
No, sir, I'm sure not the regular girl. She's gone to
Tacoma to visit her sister. There's supposed to be a
number for her written down here somewhere.

Andy begins to look for it, but that's not what the caller is concerned about. Andy listens to him for a moment.

ANDY (CONTINUED)
Well, I'm certainly not a lawyer, sir, but my
interpretation of the law would be that if your
neighbor's cow has each of his four hoofs completely
on his property, but his head is stretched over into
your property and he's chewing up your ...
(listens)
Well, I'm certainly no veterinarian, but I think that
would kill the cow. Right. Okay. Bye.

Episode 23...

10. INT. GREAT NORTHERN HOTEL - DAY

THOMAS ECKHARDT, hands his assistant, JONES, a stack of CASH. Her suitcase is open on the bed.

ECKHARDT
The entire amount.
(Jones reacts, pleased)
I trust you'll finish the job, regardless of what happens
tonight.
(he catches her hand as she takes the money)
Surely you of all people know what happens when my trust
is violated.

He pulls a GAROTTE out of her bracelet, wraps it around her wrists. Kisses her.

ECKHARDT
Check out. Drive north, for a day. I'll wrap up my affairs
and be gone by morning. Come back tomorrow night and
finish up.

JONES
(smiling)
Yes sir.

This is all absolutely golden! May I ask where you're getting all of this from? Is there a collection of deleted scenes online somewhere?

That Tim and Tom's Taxi-Dermi is wild! Can't believe they might have filmed that! I remember their advert in the Access Guide. I wonder if Gregg Fienberg played him in the series, as well. Also, did anyone notice that a "Don" Pinkle is listed as having played on the TP High Steeplejacks during their undefeated season? So there are three Pinkles??? Had we gotten a Season 3, I would have loved to have seen Michael McKean play Tim's athletic brother.
Love is worth dying for.

Hi ARIaddict. Welcome to the board. We're pulling these details directly from the original shooting scripts, most of which can be found online here:

I think the scene with James and his mom- just because it was actually referenced/mentioned in the series.

I'd love to see an all inclusive list of all of the Deleted, alternate, or extended scenes from the Series. Anyone spot any missing scenes not mentioned in this thread?

It is likely a huge undertaking. I do think it will raise awareness like the FWWM scenes and would be great to archive.

Any takers?

Some of the photos shown during the retrospective didn't ring a bell, particularly those of Donna and Doc Hayward near what looked to be a greenhouse. Not sure if this was one of the two Donna/Doc H scenes listed in the original post or something else.

Donna's scene with her father just before the funeral. I'm a big fan of that beautiful scene between them at the end of the pilot, where he tells her how much he loves her, and this scene could have been a nice, tender continuation of that.

Any of the scenes of Audrey at One-Eyed Jack's, trying to get information for Cooper about Laura's time there.

The scene between Big Ed & Sparky is interesting because, correct me if I'm wrong, but Sparky never appears onscreen in the series. And wasn't he also in the deleted scene from FWWM where Nadine skins a deer? Would that make him the only actor to get cut from both the series and the film?

If the scene of Pete punching Albert got filmed, that would be a hoot. If I remember correctly, it's scripted as a scene where Cooper, Albert and Truman bring Pete back home from the hospital. But in the final episode, only Truman brings Pete home. So that might indicate Lynch decided to rewrite the scene on the spot and the Pete-Albert fight was never filmed.

Finally, I like the Cooper-Truman-Norma scene in episode 17 (post MT Wentz) revelation. Love this bit at the end of the scripted scene:

COOPER (CONTINUED)
Norma appears to be quite upset this evening.

TRUMAN
That damn food critic finally wrote a review. Ran this
afternoon in the Seattle paper.

COOPER
That bad?

TRUMAN
To call it scathing would be kind.

Cooper reaches for his check. Truman takes it.

TRUMAN
Let me. I'm the one who still has a paycheck.

COOPER
Harry, you're aces. Excuse me.
(rises, moves to Norma)
Norma? You know what they say? A critic is a legless
man who teaches running.

NORMA
(devastated)
Did you read it?

COOPER
It doesn't matter; you couldn't keep people out of here if
you tried.

NORMA
You're very nice, to say so. Thanks.

Ferrer told me that he only remembered being punched by Truman, so I would surmise that Pete punching him was not filmed. On the other hand, I know the first few scripts were much longer than they needed to be for a 40 minute show, so who knows.

James and his mom would have to be at the top of my list.

I bought that actual script signed by Engels years ago. and have 3 more documents which helps support it's authenticity of the item.

EPISODE 8
Deleted scene between Audrey and Nancy (Pick-Up Girl) at One-Eyed Jack's:

31. INT. ONE-EYED JACK'S BEDROOM - DAY

Audrey, alone in her room, sprawled on the bed playing solitaire. She hums. She cheats.

A knock at the door. A FIFTY-TWO PICK-UP GIRL enters.

AUDREY
Say, when do they put on the feedbag around here? I
could eat a bear.

PICK-UP
Kitchen's open twenty-four hours a day.

AUDREY
Yeah? My door isn't. There's no doorknob on my side.

PICK-UP
That's for security.

AUDREY
Whose security?

PICK-UP
All the new girls get this room at first.

AUDREY
(this is interesting)
All of them?

PICK-UP
Until they trust you.

AUDREY
Then what happens?

The Girl likes her and is friendly, but is also clearly operating under some other instructions.

PICK-UP
Keep asking so many questions and you'll never find out.

AUDREY
They don't like you asking questions?

The Girl gestures to be quiet, nods, points to a small screen in the wall; a speaker. Audrey nods, understanding.

AUDREY (CONTINUED)
(for the speaker's benefit)
I wouldn't normally be so curious, but Jack's is such a
first-rate joint I'd like to know more about how it's run.

PICK-UP
(playing along)
This may be your chance to find out; Blackie would like
to see you in her office.

AUDREY
(still playing to the speaker)
Hey, great.

They move towards the door.

AUDREY (CONTINUED)
(whispers)
What's your name?

PICK-UP
(whispers)
Nancy.

AUDREY
(still whispering)
Nancy, one more question ...
(pulls on her own bustier)
... don't your boobs start to hurt in this thing?

Nancy covers her mouth to hide her laugh and nods.
