Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
I think it would be OK to get one's hopes up for this, at least this time.
Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
I wonder how long it will be before the first fan edit hits the internet!!
Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Anybody knows if there will be a dvd edition too? Because otherwise I should buy a blu-ray player!

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
of course blu-ray is on the way... but the above photo could be just fan work... aside from the terrible typo.
Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
Forget the typo, my favourite part of the article is this
I see nothing but a mess of pixelated garbageIn Fox-Paramount’s promotional image, the preliminary cover art for Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery suggests the inclusion of “the missing pieces” and shows a red sticker with “deleted scenes from Fire Walk with Me.” I believe the word you’re looking for is: BINGO!

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
When I used to work at Blockbuster Video (RIP) in the late 90's, we would get these magazines that were order forms for video stores and other outlets to buy product months in advance. This looks like a scan from one of those. They used to be filled with typos back then too.Jerry Horne wrote:"Bly-Ray"

The good news is that apparently the USC Retrospectives will be included on the eventual set. Let's hope they don't cut them down.

I wouldn't mind if they edit out the awkward, somewhat tense back-and-forth between Paula K and Feinberg and that other guy. LOL.Jerry Horne wrote:The good news is that apparently the USC Retrospectives will be included on the eventual set. Let's hope they don't cut them down.
On a serious note though, how psyched are you guys now that we're seeing a preliminary listing/artwork on this thing? Like so many of you, I've been waiting 21 years to finally have a look at these deleted scenes and I'm so grateful it's finally happening in the very near future. Whatever the scenes are, however brief they may be, I think it's going to be worth the wait.

Hopefully that won't be the cover art.

That's the cover for the newest season of The Walking Dead, right?
Yikes! ...keep it simple with the road and the sign post. Or use the simply prom picture, or Wrapped in Plastic Laura. And the obscure picture of Maddy on the back... Really, fan art person?

God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?

Re: Twin Peaks on Blu-Ray DVD Discussion
So let's assume we are getting Fire Walk With Me and the Deleted Scenes on this Blu-ray set (which, I can pretty much talk freely about this now I guess, two sources at CBS Home Video told me was a done deal at San Diego Comic Con last summer. I was sworn to secrecy at the time, but then one of the guys blabbed about it on the internet a month later) what else do you guys wanna see on the set? Here's my wishlist:
Everything from The Gold Box AND the season two DVD set (there were some interviews NOT ported over to the Gold Box set.)
A "Collector's Edition" for us hardcore fans...with maybe a keepsake version of Laura Palmer's Secret Diary. And maybe other collectible goodies.
The "Diane...My Life, My Tapes" audio files should be an extra. That is loooong OOP, surely the publisher would license it out? I was kinda shocked they weren't on the DVD set, it was so comprehensive.
The entire USC Q&A's. Those are a true treasure.
of course...the ultimate extra would be that David Lynch films a "25 years later" Coda to the series. No, I don't expect it...but the rumored release date (and Mark Frost's comments last year) give me a glimmer of hope. I see something like this as far more likely than a "Season three"
What else would you guys wanna see? Remember, this is likely the LAST time Twin Peaks gets a physical media release. It's now or never.
