Read through most of this thread. Excellent stuff. I'm watching the episode when Audrey professes her love for John Justice Wheeler. It was cringe inducing, partially because he wasn't a very memorable character and especially because it wasn't Cooper. Talk about a rushed romance.

Man, it's a while since I've waded in here, what better way then to give this great thread on this great character a bump... !

25 years ago today on February 23rd 1989, this iconic scene of Audrey leaving for school was shot. These promo photos were also taken. Do you see Lynch's reflection? It looks like he shot the stills himself:

Ah, what a great day. We must all remember! Good catch, Jerry. I think I see the Lynch reflection. Do we know if this was Fenn's first day of filming? Is this the anniversary of Audrey coming to life? In any case, big salute, toast to Audrey Horne and her saddle shoes!

According to the paperwork I have, yes, 25 years ago today this was Audrey's first day of filming and her first scene (walking to the car)Audrey Horne wrote:Ah, what a great day. Then it looks like Lynch did a photo shoot of her in the car and around the front of The Salish. Also on that same day they did the establishing shots of the falls and The Great Northern seen often in the first season especially and of course the opening credits.

Incredible pics! Thanks for sharing.

I know this is a pipe dream and no doubt there will be explanations why it can't happen, but with the announcement of the new Season 3, I am hoping that there might be a chance yet for Audrey and Cooper. There, I said it!!

Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
This is clearly the week to dork out about this. What do we want to see?
Most assume she is now running the Great Northern and is successful. I can see that, but yawn. In keeping with the early Audrey as dreamer, I'm hoping she left Twin Peaks. She survived the bomb in strange fashion, the only one. She was completely unscathed. And chalked up as a miracle. This could tap into the first season and Lynch directed Audrey... She has untapped powers.
She left Twin Peaks, and severed all ties. Twenty five years later when the show returns, the Great Northern is a wreck. Catherine thrived with Ghostwood, and the Horne Brothers are running the business into the ground. Sylvia has died, and Johnny continues to not get the attention he needs. Not until about three thirds of the first episode airs, do we finally get her return. And of course from the shoes on up. Now black heels, and panning up to a slick black suit. She has joined the FBI... And hell why not, working with Gordon Cole and Albert.
And of course, remember to Cooper, "One of these days, I'm going to be grown up and on my own, and YOU better watch out!"

Audrey as an FBI agent still smoking cigarettes, kicking ass and taking names. That is what I want to see.
