great scene. I wonder why lynch chose certain scenes to be left out of the actual INLAND EMPIRE.

It is a great GREAT scene. One of the best (non)scenes from IE. Shame it wasn't in there, but I can see that it might have disrupted the flow of the main feature...

If it had been any longer it wouldn't have fit onto one DVD. I don't think I'd actually want to watch a four hour film even if it was DL (FWWM is the exception) because my attention would be flagging badly by the end and it'd be bordering one of Andy Warhol's epics or a Tibetan Opera!
