GQ Fall/Winter issue 2 feature unpublished Twin Peaks stills
Today, on newsstands only, the Fall/Winter issue of GQ magazine will have several rare and unpublished Twin Peaks stills by Paula K. Shimatsu-U. I had the pleasure helping choose the images and I think it's worth getting if you're into that sort of thing
I'm suppose to get a comp copy but I'm not sure when it will arrive. If anyone picks up a copy, feel free to post pics.

With all of Paula's pics, and the ones seen on Getty, I wonder why more of these weren't used in promotion and marketing. Great stuff.

Probably because the person in charge of marketing on the show was clueless and was referred to as a 'Suit' by many of the cast.Ross wrote:With all of Paula's pics, and the ones seen on Getty, I wonder why more of these weren't used in promotion and marketing. Great stuff.

Would that be Craig Sjodin? He has been around for decades, I wonder how old he is. He is still taking shots for ABC. I really liked the shots by Mark Seliger, the ones featured in the TV Guide ads. Do you know why Mark was brought in for those or why they didn't use him more?Jerry Horne wrote:Probably because the person in charge of marketing on the show was clueless and was referred to as a 'Suit' by many of the cast.Ross wrote:With all of Paula's pics, and the ones seen on Getty, I wonder why more of these weren't used in promotion and marketing. No. Craig Sjodin was the in-house ABC photographer and Mark was a freelancer I do believe. I love Mark's stuff. Craig is great technically but perhaps a little by-the-numbers? I don't know why they brought in who they did. I know Mark had connections at Rolling Stone magazine etc.vicksvapor77 wrote:Would that be Craig Sjodin? Re: GQ Fall/Winter issue 2 feature unpublished Twin Peaks st
I always wondered if Mark's shots were to be used exclusively in TV Guide. I think a lot of them were also used in press kits, no? I am always very fascinated by how they did the promotion for the show. I'm still "offended" Madchen was never featured in an ad and every other female regular was. Dana Ashbrook neither.Jerry Horne wrote:No. Craig Sjodin was the in-house ABC photographer and Mark was a freelancer I do believe. I love Mark's stuff.
