Lynch shoes designer in Paris

Davis Lynch was in Paris last days.
The 4th of July, he was invited for a new exhibition of... shoes !
Yes, David Lynch has created very special shoes with Christian Louboutin, a luxury shoes designer. You can see some pictures here :

On these pictures, we can see for example Emily Stoefle (named "Emily Lynch" by the journalist), Christian Louboutin, Eva Ionesco (excellent french photograph) and ... Cecilia Sarkozy, the French president's wife.

I found that press review :

"David Lynch, famed filmmaker, painter, video and performance artist is taking his next career step into fashion with a photo collaboration with shoe designer Christian Louboutin. At a cocktail party in Paris to coincide with couture week, the pair celebrated their exhibition at the Pierre Passebon gallery. Louboutin created surreal style shoes especially for the shoot including spike-heeled pointed shoes"

Means that it's a new Lynch's photos exhibition... We can see on the pictures from Getty Images some nudes photos in the gallery. And one of the photo is showing Lynch with "the Crazy Horse dancers, models of the David Lynch pictures : Baby and Nooka" !
I will see it tonight ! The exhibition takes place in the Passage Vero Daudat, near the rue de Rivoli.

On the pictures, tou can see too the wonderful French-British actress Charlotte Rampling and a French songwriter Charlelie Couture.

I'm a bit surprised there isn't a front news on dugpa.com

This is an AWESOME exhibition ! I went there and everything, from the pictures to the shoes and the furniture is SO Lynch... I know Lynch took "only" the pictures but they are really amazing, especially on such a big scale.

There is a catalog for sale with all the pictures, price is 20â‚¬ and it's worth every cent. For sale only at the exhibition, this is a true gemm and collector.

I visited the exhibition last week-end. Very beautiful place, the gallery Vero-Dodat is an old flat of Paris, situated in a cute passage near the "Palais Royal". About 30 photos are exposed in 5 or 6 rooms on two floors. It's really really worth coming here. The serie is called "Fetish". Typical erotic Lynch atmosphere, high quality photos (1 meter large)... In front of the photos, the very special shoes, designed by Louboutin, are exposed too. (the Louboutin shop is in the passage too).

Some of the pictures have been sold : 20 000 euros the big ones, 12 000 euros the small ones. A small catalogue (20 euros) has been published. But according to the owner, a real catalogue (a bigger one, hardback) must be published in 2008.

About the catalog, great news HervÃ© Love. So it makes the current catalog even more worthwhile !

I can see one on eBay here currently cheaper than the sale price !
