What new merchandise do you want to see?

Post by Mark B »

Getting ahead of myself here but I'm hoping that we get to see some new merchandise when the new series comes along. Just wondering what everyone would like to see?

I'm pinning my hopes on figures - I need a little plastic Coop for my desk. In fact I need multiple - for my work desk and home desk.

Have no idea if this will even be a possibility as I don't know if Lynch/Frost have a controlling say and how they view things like this. I know there were some Dune figures a while ago but otherwise I'm struggling to think of any other merch.

As far as I am aware MF and DL have the final say in any merchandise that is produced. This is why there was so little that appeared after the show went off the air. I think there will new merchandise but based upon the first time around I think it may be more limited to books and maybe posters/t-shirts.

A new Piano Sheet would be nice. :D

Hardbound book of the whole pre-production process.

Hardbound coffee table book of every prop from the show.

Cd/Blu-Ray of Badalamenti & Lynch planning out the new music for the show including snippets from the forthcoming soundtrack and interviews etc.

Teaser posters.

Leather bound copy of 'The Secret Lives of Twin Peaks' signed by Frost & Lynch.

I'll take that 25-years-delayed Nintendo video game any day now.

Failing that, I would kill to see Telltale Games make an episodic RPG side-story set between the original and now, as they have with Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead. But I expect Lynch would never allow that.

I love your way of thinking Jerry! I want all of these.

I do hope they have someone documenting what's been happening. And that they have an onset photographer.

I've seen two different set photographers and I actually saw Lynch shoot stills at one point.

This isn't official merchandise by any means, but I am very much looking forward to Reflections Pt. II! (And I won't complain if Brad throws in a lengthy prologue to cover FWWM...) I feel the behind-the-scenes story of Twin Peaks is always almost as fascinating as the onscreen tales. In fact I'm hoping the renewed interest in Twin Peaks means that we somehow at some point find out even more about the process of the original series.

With Jennifer Lynch as BOB! (This was actually suggested by Lee & Lynch!)

Ooh, good call Jerry, hadn't thought of coffee table books (actually, on that point, whatever happened to Paula's book?)
LostInTheMovies - yes! Part 2 would be amazing, my only worry would be is that do you think that Brad would need to allow a significant amount of time to pass before doing it? I find it hard to believe people would be so candid when it's recent.

Pretty much what Jerry said plus more

-Hardback book of the production featuring stills from DL and cast.

-Deluxe vinyl box set of the new score/soundtrack with XX page booklet

-Deluxe Blu-Ray box set of entire show. Loads of juicy extras mandatory.

-Coffee and beer show tie in. Cooper dark roast beans, Black Lodge dark ale, Deputy Hawk IPA etc.

-Twin Peaks board game

I would say clothes but that market is pretty much saturated already.

I personally would lime to see some nice collectibles. Something along the lines of a cool trivia styke board game. I would be ecstatic to have an open world video game. Figures would be awesome. I am hoping Funko Pop! puts out a nice line. We are Funko dealers and they have some awesome little collectors pieces. I am also hoping for some nice posters to be available. I would be pretty happy with any kind of nick-nack that could be sat on a desk or shelf, I like stuff like that.
I like big logs and I can not lie...
