Look,Nina Simone is a great artist.I just wanted to give emphasis that she was definitely not appearing in the movie. However, she is fat compared to the Afro-American woman in the movie.I am wondering who she is...

The unreleased track on the single is in the style of Ghost of Love and can be viewed as a companion piece much like Blue Frank is the companion piece of the Pink Room.

Also there is some additional music related to INLAND EMPIRE on the horizon.

I did write the original chord progression from which "Polish Poem" was derived. I understand Chrysta composed the melody, and David usually writes all the words. I will not divulge the state of negotiations nor the status of things between David and I, as he would not wish it. But I played on the core track, and played numerous parts on other tracks on the soundtrack. I do not have the CD and do not know what has been credited or not.

There was some kind of 50's track when all the girls dancing slowly in the dark, and it's not on the cd for some reason.. :(
There's a place i'd like to show you. Near the ocean. It's very secluded.
I think you'll understand me better if you come with me.

Another great song--too bad it wasn't on the CD.

Yes it's a super song, but it appears on soooo many compilations--you can even find it at Pottery Barn!

The Pottery Barn sells music? I remember that song from "Rainman."

Been selling music for years. They come out with those Holiday specials CDs or Dinner at 8 & Margarita Mix CDs. So your house won't only look like Pottery Barn but will sound like Pottery Barn too...

that will do nicely, thank you :) i presume they have recorded one of the live sessions performed before IE screenings? their "concert" from the Paris exhibition was running on a loop on a tv in the upstairs shop at Fondation Cartier...

is there any idea of a release date for this? are Ryko going to distribute it?

No word on a release date but it will contain 4 tracks that were recorded at Asymetrical Studios between 2004 and 2006. I'm trying to get more details on the release.

I have just noticed that Krzysztof Penderecki's piece called "Als Jakob erwachte" was actually the exact same track found in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining "The awakening of Jacob".

The soundtrack from The Shining countains five more Penderecki's pieces, for those inarested.
