Nothing more than pandering to the nu-breed of vinyl 'addicts' and you can bet your bottom dollar it'll sell out straight away. I paid 99p for my original soundtrack lp about 15 years ago. They go for upwards of £70 now. Not quite sure what my point is tbh

If it's pre ordered on Wednesday will it arrive before the retail release? If not there doesn't seem to too much point in the pre order if it's not a limited version. Just thinking on saving on postage (to UK) costs.

Clearly (and sensibly on their part) there are going to be plenty of these to go round.
These will be stocked in UK shops in the fullness of time if you don't fancy taking a chance on getting dinged on a possible customs charge.

It looks beautiful and I can't wait to get it.

As far as pandering to neophytes as suggested above, I can't see anything wrong with that, to be fair. If you're a young person into records and Twin Peaks I'm sure you don't fancy paying 70 quid for an LP on eBay that could be knackered. Re-issuing is one of the massive upsides of the vinyl boom.

I think I'm gonna take your advice and hold off till we get them locally. I had the vinyl in the cart ready to order from Mondo. $23 + $13 shipping gives $36 dollar total, equal to £28. I would pay that but I'm not risking a customs charge. I got a couple of T-shirts recently when Society6 were doing free shipping worldwide. Ended up paying for shipping plus more when the post office held it back

Plus Deathwaltz just said there will be UK record stores holding Twin Peaks Cherry Pie and Coffee nights so I think I'd like to attend one of those. I've waited long enough for this vinyl. An extra 4 weeks won't kill.

Thanks but I've pre-ordered for Mono in Glasgow here. £28.99 collection on release date. They were charging £31.99 at first but they must've saw the competition and saw they were the most expensive and baulked. Thing is, I would've paid that. It's a cracking record shop, bar, vegan cafe and gig venue combined and a real Glasgow gem.

The LP is now also available for pre-order in some German shops:

HHV offer it for EUR 35,99
http://www.hhv.de/shop/en/item/angelo-b ... 1?p=HJC1rh

amazon's current price is EUR 44,96
https://www.amazon.de/Peaks-Remastered- ... twin+peaks

which seems pretty costly to me, considering Mondo's $23 price tag.

My copy arrived today...and it is absolutely beautiful. I really dig the hand scribed quotes on each side. I was horribly disappointed at first...when placing the needle on the album, it would skip into the first song a good 5 seconds. I tried and tried and it did it every time. So I let it play through and had no other issues. I was debating on weather to contact desthwaltz or just suck it up and forget it, then I got the light just right and found a tiny glob of gunk on the outter rim. I cleaned it off and tried again...perfection! Problem solved. Now I can't wait for FWWM...I just hope they decide to release season 2 on vinyl.

For what it's worth, I think a lot of newly cut records comes with dirt on the vinyl. Whenever I open a new record, there always seems to be a lot of small white spots that look like they have come from the freshly cut dust sleeves. Best thing to invest in is a velvet or carbon brush and purpose made cleaning fluid with lint free cloth. That's the basic essentials in my opinion.

You should always cleans even new vinyl, for sure. You'd be surprised what gets in there just from the factory.

Anyway, this is getting overall positive reviews from people online. Some people have similar stories, that it was a bit noisy but a cleaning took care of it. Almost everyone is mentioning that their discs are warped, which could be a problem. My own copy was warped and incredibly noisy, even after cleaning, to the point where it clearly must have been defective. Mondo customer service was stellar, however, and is shipping me a replacement disc as I type this. So if anyone here does end up with a problematic copy, don't be afraid to shoot them an e-mail.

Still waiting on mine. Do Mondo Tees send out an e-mail when it is dispatched? So far, I only have an order confirmation from a while ago.

When did you order? The first batch of orders were shipped almost immediately (I ordered a few minutes after they went on sale and it was shipped the same day), but later orders have been pushed back into a preorder period due to high demand and won't be shipping until the end of October. In any event, you'll definitely get an e-mail when it's dispatched. They're customer service is also stellar, so you could always shoot them a message via their contact form if you're concerned.

I'm maybe stating something that's already been announced, but that image indicates it will be a double album.

Wow -- very, very excited for this. I still haven't gotten the S1 reissue and want to, but this one is a must.
