I really don't get all this complaining regarding the Saturday evening/night time slot, never did, never will. Maybe that's because Saturday night was always a deluxe time to crash in front of the tube and watch the evening away in my house. It couldn't get more "TV-appropriate" than Saturday night (with Friday night being a strong competition). And that's the habit I've kept till this day. Oh well, I never was much of a going-out-and-party person, so choosing between staying at home in the company of a good flick/series and going on the town was/is always a no-brainer for me, no matter the life period.

Saturday was, and is, a graveyard for ratings. In fact, I don't think the networks even schedule new shows on saturday anymore, do they? I think they usually play repeats of stuff from that week.

And yet at one time Saturday was the end all, be all of TV. I think All in the Family, The Carol Burnett Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show all on Saturday night one after the other.

Saturday has never and will never be a TV ratings night. It's really as simple as that. It may not be the main reason Twin Peaks was cancelled but it certainly didn't help.

Agreed. Always thought his music and whole vibe was pretentious and overrated but to each their own. Hopefully at most he just played music in a club scene or maybe that party Belushi was talking about. At best he just hung out on set and maybe had an extra cameo.

What are you saying?! "Go" is without question THE MOST masterful, creative and inventive use of Laura Palmer's Theme you will ever hear!! Totally not a redundant and uninspired result of a thought process concluding in "those synth strings are cool and all, but let's see what it sounds like with some generic 90's acid house drums on it and instantly forgettable vocal samples"

To be fair though, every time 'Extreme Ways' comes on in the Bourne movies I get goosebumps, even though it's cheesy as hell.

I do not believe we will be getting any more new footage. The best we can hope for is a surprise early release of ep 1 and 2 tomorrow night

Yeah, hearing that Moby might have a part or some music in The Return actually puts me off a little. His music is so mediocre. Oh well, I am sure Lynch knows what to do with him.
