That's great, B. And I love your interview. Must have been a huge thrill for a die-hard FWWM fan like you!

Isn't a 'swede' supposed to be the whole film though?

This is a shot-by-shot remake! Unbelievably close to the actual film though! It would be great to see this film-maker do something similar that diverged from the original though, since his quality is so high.

This isn't a "Swede"

A "swede" is supposed to also be the movie done in a ridiculously DIY style where as this is clearly trying to be as dead on as their means would allow. Great job, though. It reminds me of the "There Will Be Bud" trailer in quality. If you haven't seen this, do so. It's amazing. Especially when you watch it side by side with the real trailer.

Fabien,

I love your sweded version. I had posted it on the main site a few years back.

Hope you do more and maybe even deleted scenes. :)

yeah thanks to all! :D really happy to see those comments!
ok maybe 3 or 4 years after... but better late than never!
well, yes, it's not a really totally "sweded" version, maybe more a remake. BUT, "sweded", if you look the definition, is to reshoot a scene of a movie (or the movie) with no budget, only what you have near you, and in a short time. and that's what we did. And, yes, of course, i've got to admit it, i love so much that movie and i took so much pleasure to do it that i've made it with more "perfectionism" than usually in the sweded films! :) but i've tried to keep it simple and cheap... well, i've just made it with passion!
Anyway, really happy you liked it!
I've finished the shooting of a 45 minutes film, and it's in editing. An original one. Not a remake/sweded.
I'll put it here when it's finished! I hope you will going to like it to!
Let's rock!

we've made 4 sweded films in two weeks at my house. we were 4, so everyone made one film, and help each other to achieve it. 4 different styles, and approaches...
