Although I've been mostly enjoying the series so far, that episode looked, sounded, and felt more like Twin Peaks than the other 6 combined.

Was that the creepy figure from the jail cell who walked up behind the FBI agent when she was on the phone with Ernie Hudson?

What's going on with the body that we thought was Briggs? I didn't see that one coming.

Diane is not what I would have expected her to be like at all, so basically it's business as usual around here. :)

First time poster. Long time lurker. Best episode of season 3 BY FAR.

I am convinced though that the promo of Cooper driving could very well be the doppleganger; he will probably get the coordinates from Ray and then kill him. Then, he could easily switch to Cooper's attire and try to fool the FBI or the citizens of Twin Peaks as the real Cooper. Emphasis on try. The other promo of Cooper in his suit turning around could also be the doppleganger; the look he has on his face doesn't seem like a Dougie look.

It's looking like the doppleganger as the father of Richard could very well came to be true. I wonder if Jerry's stolen car had anything to do with Richard's theft of the truck.

Nothing on Richard and Linda... unless Richard was hiding in the house....

But we did get 430.

I'm actually not sure it's Josie. Remember how people were having their hands start shaking towards the end of Season 2? I assumed that had something to do with the Lodge door being open. If this is in fact set "25 years later" (i.e., 2015 rather than 2017), then maybe the door is opening again and we might see a variety of "paranormal" phenomena as a result. So the hum in the Great Northern could be an example of that.

Haven't read the temperature of the thread yet... But that episode was amazing! Peaks is back!!

Did Leslie Linka Gkatter come in in this one or something and put it into directorial overdrive in the pacing?!

Outstanding.
God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?

My theory is that Evil Coop kept him hostage in the lodge for 25 years, or Briggs got in there some other way...

That creepy figure was the same guy, yes. I was terrified that something was going to strike down on those three good souls in the morgue. I'm convinced that guy is someone from the Lodge. Definitely the creepiest aspect of the new season for me.

The hum in the Great Northern! I thought FOR SURE we'd get a look at that Josie bedside table ! Also awesome: I too thought that noise was in my house. Now that the episode is over, I'm kinda glad it's not.

Did anyone else think that Jerry was waiting to meet someone in the opening. I was expecting Richard Horne to show up at that point, but I guess not.

So Richard was driving someone else's truck when he hit that kid?
